On Nov 21st at the Victoria Theatre Halifax, Sporting Life Stories, MJK Sports Events and Snooker Legends is proud to host A SPORTING LIFE STORY with the ONE and only RONNIE O’SULLIVAN.
The Rocket’ stands alone as one of sport’s true characters in an age criticised for its lack of sporting personalities and at this event we hear about it ALL. From the early days of century breaks at the age of 10, through the major wins and 147s, we will also see footage of some of the most m...agical moments ever witnessed on the green baize on our giant viewing screens.
In addition following the in depth interview of his life story, in his own words, an audience Q and A means YOU will have to chance to ask The Rocket a question too. This is Ronnie O'Sullivan as relaxed and open as you will ever see him. Ask anyone who has attended.
It was clear O’Sullivan was destined to be a superstar from the moment he picked up a cue. He was a prodigy, making his first century break aged 10 and his first maxi-mum break aged 15. He turned 16 in 1992 and turned pro too.
His unique rapid playing style earned him the nickname "The Rocket" and he didn’t waste much time capturing his first title either. He won the 1993 UK Championship at the age of 17 years and 358 days, making him the youngest player ever to win a ranking title – a record he still holds. He is also the youngest player to have won the Masters, having won his first of many in 1995 at the age of 19 years and 69 days. Ronnie holds the record for the most competitive century breaks with a staggering 948. He also holds the record for the most ratified maximum breaks in professional competition (14) and who can forget, the quickest of which was compiled in 5 minutes and 20 seconds which you will see on the night on our big screens.
His record in Triple Crown events now stands at five World Championships, a record seven Masters and six UK Championship titles and on Nov 21st as well as many other things you will hear all about those victories from the man himself.
This really is a story and an event not to be missed.
In addition to Ronnie as always at this event John Virgo will be our very special guest. John is interviewed on the night where he takes us back to have a look at snooker behind the scenes and what it was like back in the days of the snooker halls. As always John will be a brilliant addition to the evening and as always it will be a pleasure to have him along.
A limited number of VIP tickets for this event will be available - Select VIP 1 or VIP 2 when selecting tickets
VIP Tickets 1 - £56.75 - Includes a signed paperback copy of Ronnie’s Autobiograpy and a commemorative printed picture of Ronnie presenting you the book that will be taken before the show.
VIP Tickets 2 - £46.75 - Includes a picture with Ronnie that will be printed on the night.

Integrated Signed performance.. What a fantastic show..

Full praises to Lizzie Wharton & Clare Dodds.. - they have another performance tmw at 1pm.. if you don’t have your tickets - do go and book it.. soooo worth it.. Well done..

I had full access to the show.. was able to laugh at all the punchlines and felt so involved in the play.. The casts were also fantastic and embraced the show with BSL.. felt like one big happy family.. I’ll be there next year.. Thank you xx

Tonight’s show by Navi was sensational. Having been lucky enough to see Michael Jackson and the Jacksons at the Victoria Theatre in 1978, and also seeing him twice on the Bad tour at Wembley Stadium, I must admit I was slightly unsure what I would think of an impersonator.

I was blown away, and Navi certainly lives up to his title of the worlds no 1 MJ impersonator. This was, without doubt, the next best thing to seeing the real thing.

If you’ve never seen Michael Jackson, then this is so close to the real man, and even if you have seen MJ, then I assure you that you will enjoy Navi tremendously.

Thanks Victoria Theatre for putting on a wonderful artist and making tonight a very memorable one

Me and my daughter had a great night at King of Pop. Navi is amazing and we loved seeing Jennifer Batten. It was our first time at Victoria Theatre, it's a lovely venue and a great size for music events. Hopefully we'll be back again soon!

I won tickets through Facebook to go see Navi the MJ impersonator last night and I had a fantastic night, the seats we were given were brill ( near the front) and the whole night was amazing. I took my 3 year old grand daughter to watch Aladdin she was a bit wary at first with the baddie coming on but once she got into it she loved it. The staff are very helpful and it was a great experience. The cast were fantastic I will definitely be coming back for snow white. Thank you for a great evening xx

User

I cannot thank the staff at Victoria Theatre enough for their care and professionalism for Florence and the Machine last night, especially Jackie in the box office (give that lady a raise!!) and the absolutely lovely Maureen who worked the gig. They were so kind and the gig was amazing- and I do think a lot of that is down to the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. We got local information that was super helpful, having never been to Halifax before, and with our kurfuffle with the stubhub tickets were able to get on a waiting list and luckily got surrendered tickets. The staff were amazing and gave us a letter to prove to stubhub we couldn't get in on the very expensive tickets they sold us- really above and beyond and we are so thankful. I'm sure with the id issues with secondary tickets they had their fair share of grief but they rose above and gave us all a wonderful night. Lots of love and thanks from Tara and Gareth from Wales xx
