It's Christmas eve, come celebrate with us! 🎄🎄🎁🎄🎄
We have gone dark beer mad! All these now OTB.
This was so good last year, we got it back in. Now OTB Christmas cheer in a glass!
Breakfast?? Well, it is Christmas... #whatcouldgowrong #breakfastofchampions
This might be the most traditional beer with ever had on! But it really is delicious! Theakston’s Old Peculier from a wooden cask. As good a cask dark beer that we’ve had on this year!

This is getting out of hand now! You’ve polished off the Kees Caramel Fudge, so we’ve had to replace it with this deliciously naught @amundsenbryggeri Barrel Aged Chocolate Marshmellow Stout! Come and get it quick, because these imperial stouts aren’t hanging around! Oh.... and Chimay Blue is on too 👀

Carrying on with the delicious dark beer posts is the magnificent macchiato from @wylam_brewery, don't worry the fudge stout is still on, this one is on the handpulls.
Ran out of the Amundsen pecan and maple pie so put this on instead 😎 cheers 🍻🍻🍻
Making a return appearance all the way from over the hill @magicrockbrewing DAIRYFREAK milk ice porter. Fresh on now!
Who's off to watch Jake Bugg tonight? Lot of gear going in for a solo performance.
Dessert in a c̶a̶n̶ keg! Pecan pie imparts all the flavours and aromas you might expect from a piece of pecan pie drizzled in maple syrup! NOW ON!
Ps. It is delicious.
A selection of some of the beers coming up. @ Victorian Craft Beer Cafe
What a wonderful find in the town. A unique place with a great selection of craft beers in both bottle and keg. The ladies loved the ambience (as well as the Sauvignon Blanc). A great place to meet for pre theatre drinks.
This bar is amazing great atmosphere great beer and the foods good too it’s a no brainer
The best selection of beer that Halifax has ever seen, all of which is perfectly kept by great staff. I haven't found a better pub in West Yorkshire and I have visited a fair few!
Really nice decor, friendly helpful staff, formidable selection of real ale and craft beer, from local, regional and international makers. What's not to like.
Quirky, characterful, small ale house (not a full blown pub, but bigger than a Micro). Fabulous range of craft and cask ales and keg.
Possibly one of the best pubs I’ve ever been to.... definitely in the top 5 in Halifax. Great beer. Great staff. Great atmosphere. Family friendly. With a great snack selection and even good drinks for non-beer drinkers. Well worth a visit
One reason to visit Halifax; excellent range of beer, constantly changing but not disappointed with any of the beer I've had. Very knowledgeable staff; certainly no bland beer sold here!
One of the best pubs I've ever been to. Been here a few times. The beer selection is great, the staff know their stuff and, most importantly for me, the atmosphere is lovely. Always good music playing and friendly people. Doesn't Matter if you're here with friends or on your own, it's always great. And they do excellent pork pies! If you're in the area it's well worth a visit!
Next to the Victoria Theatre the Victorian Craft Beer Cafe is a must visit bar for lovers of real ale, but will also appeal to anybody that enjoys passing the time in cosy and attractive surroundings. Decorated to a very high standard this bar looks like it has been serving fine ale for many years but I was informed that they first opened only two years ago. Serving a fine range of hand-pulled beer they also sell many bottled beers, particularly from Belgium. It was early in the day when I made my visit so I am unsure whether they sell food.
Great pub, the selection of ales was fantastic, spot on service and very cool atmosphere.
Great place, loads of beer choice & some fabulous gins - wish we’d had more time 🍸🍻
Great beer, atmosphere and friendly, knowledgable staff, probably the best pub in Halifax
Excellent beers and ciders and Bloody good pork pies, all food groups covered👍
Discovered this place on the weekend. Lovely selection of fabulous beers on tap and bottled. Tried some very nice beers. Discovered an awesome Cherry Belgian served in a beautiful glass. Very happy going back ASAP!!!
Delightful place !!!! Good choice of real ale .The best bar we visited in Halifax this weekend.
Bigger than a micropub, smaller than a traditional pub this place is cosy & friendly. The staff were welcoming and knowledgable about why they sell. We will definitely be back x
Best beer cafe in the UK. A warm friendly welcome no matter what time of day you go. Staff know their range of beers and offer great advice if you are struggling to find something to suit your palate. Also do great food(Pork pies are fantastic!) Stroke of genius having a lovely knowledgable lady behind the bar too. Has become the 'must go to' place as i am never dissapointed. Perfection
Very impressive selection of beers, lagers and ciders, both on tap and bottled. Cozy, quaint ambience, retro decor. Not the warmest of welcomes from the staff. Found the customers a bit haughty. Not likely to get any riff raff in here. Still, definitely worth a visit.
The beer and the ambiance were great, but they need to review the menu, £3.50 for a slice of Artisan bread covered with chopped tomato, as lovely as it was is taking the Michael somewhat
