What a lovely little place. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely be back.

We visited today with 3 adults and 5 children under the age of 3! Sounds like chaos but we were made to feel so welcome. The service, the atmosphere and the cakes were all wonderful. The peanut butter brownie was my personal favourite. Such a little gem of a place and so friendly. We will definitely be regular customers from now on. Thank you.

We had our daughters birthday party here,and she and all her little friends loved it,they had sandwiches,crisps and ice cream and drinks. Then they all got to decorate 4 cupcakes. We were all made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

We came for afternoon tea last weekend and LOVED it. Such a gorgeous little tea shop. The cakes were totally amazing and the staff lovely. Can't wait to visit again x

There aren't many places I would travel 38 miles (round trip) for but this is definitely one! Always has the most beautiful of food and one of the friendliest owners I've come across in a long time. Thank you so much for a lovely visit, we shall definitely be back.

Ordered two traybakes for a big family party last weekend and it went down so well. Lots of oohs and ahhs about the jammie dodger blondie as it's quite an unusual one to see. So many people came back for seconds as they couldn't choose between that and the chocolate orange brownie. Thank you victorious sponge!

Ordered a beautiful cake for my daughters 16th. What a lovely lady and a fantastic cake. Will be ordering again whenever I can think of an excuse. Thank you

Mothers Day 2018 and afternoon tea at Victorious Sponge. Well, where to start ? Such a fascinatingly pretty place. Staff were welcoming and efficient. Our “picnic table” was covered in sweet and savoury treats. Something for everyone, including nanny, mummy, 2 teenage boys and a 5 year old girl. The table was cleared !! I also had take-away cupcakes (I promise they were not for me �). Thank you Victorious Sponge. We will return �

Me, my husband, daughter and son came here today for an early Valentine’s Day afternoon tea. It was absolutely beautiful x We travelled an hour to get there and it was well worth it x A beautiful cafe and the lady behind the counter was so welcoming and friendly x The food was gorgeous and well worth the day off from dieting for! She was accommodating as we couldn’t make the Valentines afternoon tea on the Wednesday so let us have it today instead x Thank you so much x We will definitely be visiting again x

Lovely wee cafe/tea shop. Little gem in Wem. Very friendly staff and play area plus yummy cup cakes. Need to return for a booked afternoon tea!

Love this little cake shop/tearoom. Always lots of yummy cakes on offer! Happy, friendly staff!

You can tell from the taste test that a lot of love and hard work goes into making these delicious cakes! ���

It was my Dad's 60th birthday in July 2017, and for the first time ever, we though we would have a cake speicaly made, for his little party. The lady who runs the little cafe, was lovely and went through all cake options that she makes. All I can say the cake was absolutley stunning and the smell of the Vanila was to die for. Infact just thinking about it or looking at the photos of the cake, brings back the gorgeous smell in your memory. I would recommend to anyone and very good value for a massive size cake, the cafe also has a nice vintage feel to it and lovely colours inside & out that feels very welcoming. Thank You so much. :)

I have wanted to come and try these cakes for ages so We treated my mom for an afternoon tea for her birthday and it was lovely, the best we have had. Everything was freshly made and the cakes was amazing �� we have all said we will defiantly be back for afternoon tea and just for a cake & coffee.

It felt so friendly and welcoming. Will see you again soon xx

I came here for Afternoon tea at the weekend and absolutely loved it. I've been in the shop several times and have always loved the amazing cakes on offer and been made to feel welcome with my young daughter. The scones were delicious and my mum said they were the best she's ever had. Fantastic food and service

First visit today, can't wait until my next one! Lovely tea room with delicious cakes. The afternoon tea is next on my list! �

Came here for a deluxe afternoon tea with my friend. Wow is all I can say, it was fab, probably the best afternoon tea I've had. Everything was fresh and yummy. The lady who owns it was so friendly and lovely. Loved the decoration of the place. Will definitely be returning very soon.
