Friendly hotel. Can be noisy at weekends due to events, so make sure you ask for a quiet room if that's what you're looking for. Very good buffet breakfast. The bar is also good as well, very reasonable meals and kid friendly. Also has a pool that guests can use.

I was attending an exam held in one of the hotel's training rooms. Unfortunately, the hotel have no wheelchair access to the upper floors. They did find an alternative room for us which was great, but it would be nice to see disabled access to all facilities. The hotel reception and restaurants we passed through seemed clean and tidy.

Clean, comfortable and cheap just what we needed. Reception was self check in but somebody was on hand to help. Room was large reasonably clean (I say this because there was some dust around the skirting boards) and the large bed extremely comfortable. There is a pub and restaurant but we didn't eat on this occasion. There is also a pool but again we didn't use it on this occasion. There was some noise from other rooms but not enough to spoil our sleep.

Decent hotel, though needs updating a tad as looking a bit tired. The gym and pool are good- the gym has had a spruce up. The gym is split with 2 rooms- 1 one with machines and space for floor exercises and a weights room, with a smiths machine. The beds are comfy, with a large LCD TV. The room decor and bathrooms could do with updating. That said the hotel is very well maintained with good cleanliness. Like all Village hotels, there is 2 options for dining. The restaurant and the V pub. I only use the pub and the food is good for quality & price. Been here a few times now and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

So I was surprised by Village Hyde. From the outside it's not a usual Village hotel, and the rooms are in a more generic style than what you get in a typical Village.. However it is a very charming site with absolutely fantastic staff who were all very friendly. Especially the leisure staff who loved to entertain our daughter while swimming. On the note of the leisure facilities it was refreshing to have a pool warm enough for our daughter! Best pool we've been to period in that regard. As I mentioned the rooms aren't the normal village decor but they are nice and clean. Judging by our stop over, the way the hotel has been run is a credit to the brand.

I went in a couple of times for their Sunday roast. It's not bad but it's not amazing. Not a bad value for your money. It's a all you can eat including desserts. The quality is also average but still worth the visit. There is another branch in the area which I prefer. However, this would be a case of a 3½ stars.

I went for an unlimited carvery with my family who we were visiting for the weekend. My brother had raved about it and we were keen to try it as he had enjoyed his previous visit so much. The idea is great in theory but the food was not so good. The starters were fine although mostly salad or soup however there was not a lot of choice especially or vegetables and deserts suitable for children. I found the "sitting" times to be quite restricting too and was left disappointed that certain items ran out and we were not the last sitting of the day so I certainly would not advise going at 6pm as you risk not getting much at all.

Easy to find, plenty of space to park. Bar is spacious and reasonably priced. Pool table area is great as is seated area for food. Burgers are great!

Amazing service! Great food! Lovely settings. What more could you want? The staff were very understanding of our son who is unfortunately allergic to a lot of food(we bring our own for him). They also made a fuss of us and we're very helpful. Food was amazing, it is like a very well to do carvery. But that doesn't do it justice, it is amazing. I had chicken and beef and I was blown away with the chicken. Also there are a vast array of starters with extras if you ask.. amazing! Highly recommended by my friend's and now me!😀
