Village Hotel Swindon

Positives. The staff here at The Village Hotel are just so friendly and helpful. I don't think anything would be too much trouble.
Plenty to eat in either the Pub or the restaurant in site
Starbucks in on site although doesn't take your rewards card
Swimming pool look okay too
Upgrading to their Club room is a bonus but not sure the extras are worth it. These include coffee machine and Sky movies
Negatives There are no bathrobes or biscuits etc things you might expect with a CLUB ROOM.
Swindon has plenty to do with bowling and a cinema across the car park and a Pizza Hut, supermarket and trampoline park.

Also very close to Swindon Designer Village

Great stay and would definitely do again

Nice hotel. Handy for the outlet centre. The room was exceptionally hot. Turned the heating off and opened the windows,and had the fan on and still woke up sweating. Stayed in early November. Breakfast was good.

Wouldn't say anything wrong with the Hotel. Just maybe had a history of being one of th best in Swindon itself. Yet there are so many new hotels apart from the Spa it doesn't have a stand out reason to say it's great

Rooms were okay, tidy enough to be comfortable but there was noticeable grime and lack of attention to detail. Bed was comfy and firm, only 2 pillows provided however. Restaurant was very poor, menu choices were extremely limited and food was to a poor standard, I left most of my meal. One of my colleagues fell Ill with food poisoning, I would avoid this restaurant.

Very comfortable room with superb bed and giant TV. Fast WiFi. Lots of free parking. Plenty of off road trails for jogging if you wish. Close to shops, restaurants, cinema and bowling if you need them. Easy to find for visitors. Good centre for tourism.

Nice hotel and good facilities. In a good location surrounding by local amenities. The bar stayed open until we where finished and the staff where helpful and friendly. Would definitely use again.

The hotel is quite nice. We stayed with two adults and a child, and the room was definitely big enough. They made up the sofa bed for us, and while it isn't the most comfortable, it suited our needs. The staff has been wonderful as well, we got in early, and the man at the front desk chased down the staff to let us know when it would be done. The location is a bit away from most stuff we've seen so far, but it is close to food and a few things to do. I have enjoyed my stay here and would definitely stay again.

Nice place to stay. Mess up on the booking. So much for feel good Friday. Bar food is not that good. Manager was in the bar berating a member of staff for a poor mystery shopper the night before. Restaurant is ok but is pricey for what it is. The Ridge Bar and Grill across the car park offers better food and better value. Should be do much better than it is.

Went to professional event. Had lunch which was lovely and endless cups of coffee. Hard not to enjoy the day. Great time!
