For pretty obvious reasons, Grace Carter is one to watch, according to The Guardian.
"The Brighton-raised singer-songwriterŌĆÖs arresting, piano-led pop exists on a sliding scale between strength and vulnerability, each track hinged on the 20-year-oldŌĆÖs robust and emotionally bracing vocals."
Catch her at VU this autumn, more info: http://www.villageunderground.co.uk/event s/grace-carter/
my very first clubbing in London. the sound system was amazing!!!! XD
and bartenders were friendly :)
more then one reason to say best venue in london...thanks &always full suppost for this amazing place.
Went to see Daniel Avery last night, he was on form and so was the crowd, insane smoke and lighting effects and free water at the bar from a jug.
Went last night to see bicep and was superb. The cans of estrella really gave it that latina flavour which only ehanced the melodic beats of gods and fergies love children which are known as bicep.
I nearly took a star of as cigarette got soggy as smoking area has no shelter but then realised smoking is bad for me so deserves me right. Also the cubical doors are tall enough so no one can look over and peep on you weeing which security like to do at other venues.
I might of loved it so much because i was out my nut or the music was so good but what ever it was, i liked it alot. Keep doing what your doing as its pretty darn good.
Was at Krankbrothers on NYE at the weekend and the DJ,S , people and sound along with venue and staff was spot on ! Well done to the organisers X
Staff polite, knew what they were doing and approachable. I havenŌĆÖt been out since forever and this was a great welcome back.
Nice place.. all the security are friendly.. nice persons, the sound.. okay! Village underground is good place to enjoy the party’┐Į
Love it. Nice people. Best music. Casual place and different. I will be back
Just one week ago I was there totally in love with Jeff Mills and the club. Amazing place! The best soundsystem I've ever heard! The security guys were so nice! 100/10! One of the best nights in my life, thanks!
I think it's my favourite venue,I've been in so many parties there, having fun, meeting so many new friends. All the stuff is incredibly friendly, every time I enter in there I feel always welcome and
The sound is amazing, one of the best I heard in London!!
Hands down one of the best venues in London. An amazing space.
Amazing atmosphere and nice bar staff as well.
Always quality from door staff to the acts and parties booked to staff and management. A beacon of light positively shining over London clubland.
Great venue, definitely going to come back to this place, pretty good location
Decent sound and an excellent vibe
Very kewl! ¤żś¤Å╗Ō£ī¤Å╗
I do love this venue but last night at Sylvan Esso I was behind a total loon who ruined the gig for most people around him. The security staff came up to him twice I can only assume for all of the photos he was taking, but they didn't move him on! Seriously security people, as soon as you walked away from him he carried on. He needed to be removed!
Been there first time to see Christian L├Čffler. I really like the venue with a that brick, but the sound is pretty bad. Large speakers only in the front: no full sound experience possibe. Also weird there was a break between DJ's and everyone was clapping after. Smallest beer cans for a ridiculous 4.5┬Ż!
Worst experience ever. Staff managed a situation poorly as can be. Travelled from all the way from South Africa, stood in the line for 2 hours for a show and they wonŌĆÖt let a friend back in because he stepped outside for a minute thinking his travel partner was there. Tried to explain it in a orderly fashion just to have staff tell us thy donŌĆÖt have time. WonŌĆÖt return.
Staff that apparently work there are abusive. Never going back again.
Security was horrible spent ┬Ż60 on tickets and i was threatened from the start horrible experience
