Virgin Holidays V-Room

What a fantastic lounge. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are great and kept my son entertained.the selection of food was good , both warm and cold selection available.

We flew from Gatwick Airport the V-room was a given to us as this is our honeymoon. Not going what to expect as always thought airport lounges where for business types but what a wonderful experience we had. fantastic start to a easy day, it allowed us to be fully relaxed before the flight and is away from the hussle of the departure lounge. The full breakfast was great perfectly cooked the staff were always around to help if needed for anything tech room made 3hoyrs prior to the flight pass in no time. The whole Vroom experience was so good we would definitely pay extra to get this next time we fly

We flew from Gatwick Airport the V-room was a added extra to the holiday, but what a wonderful experience it made a fantastic start to a easy day, it allowed us to all relax away from the hussle and bussle from the departure lounge, and with 4 teenagers the full breakfast the tech room made 3hoyrs prior to the flight pass in no time. The whole Virgin experience was so easy we will definitely do it all again.

The best start to a holiday. We got to Gatwick airport and went to the v-room very warm welcome and everything we wanted. A great cooked breakfast and plenty of time to relax before the flight.

The V room at Gatwick was really great. We didn't want much to eat as we had already had something to eat prior to getting in, but being able to just sit down and relax was enough. My only gripe is that we found it difficult to locate especially as one of the Virgin staff members directed us in the wrong direction. Otherwise nice experience.

OMG, I've never used the v room before and thought we would see what it was like as it was a special trip. I wasn't disappointed, greeted at the entrance, all the facilities were clearly explained. We were shown to a table, we had a lovely breakfast, my daughter is a bit fussy but with options of pastries and pancakes, she found something to fill up with. My boy disappeared off to the tech room and although initially not all the pieces of equipment were fully operational, when my partner spoke to a member of staff, he responded straightaway to get them all operating. We were there early but by this point it was starting to fill up. Coffee and pastries on tap and after we finished eating, we retired to a more comfortable area where I got a bed sofa to chill while my partner and daughter went shopping and I didn't see my son until we got called for the flight of which the announcement was very clear. Virgin team were extremely helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, stress free start to the holiday and well worth the cost. I would absolutely use these facilities again and recommend them to anyone.

I travel for a living and am a gold card holder with BA. The entire experience from check in, the lounge and to the crew was a big surprise as this was my first Vigin Atlantic experience. It won't be my last. The lounge staff were friendly and more staff talked to us than in my previous 20 visits to the BA lounge at Heathrow.

Great experience in the V-room, it was such a relaxing atmosphere arriving. The Staff, food & drink were excellent....just what we need before our long honeymoon flight to Las Vegas. Highly recommend it and for that price it was a bargain....we will 100% book it again when we fly with Virgin Atlantic on our next holiday.

Great experience . Wonderful friendly and helpful staff, food quality and choice amazing, free drinks, clean and comfortable lounge, a brilliant way to start any journey with Virgin. The call to your flight and gate number is brilliant as you don't have that constant worry of looking at flight boards in the terminal . Highly recommend.

Flew to Barbados from Gatwick on Tuesday morning, v-room was excellent and staff were superb, only found out we had access through family flying with us, it was in the cost of the holiday but we weren't aware, Virgin need to make it more of a stand out offer because the facility is superb - as was Twighlight Ckeckin by the way..!

First time at the new North Terminal Virgin V-Room. What a fantastic way to start your holiday. Beautiful spacious lounge to sit back & relax have breakfast & a cuppa before our flight to Barbados. Our 6 year old daughter was kept entertained in the kids section too. Highly recommend & will most definately be back.

Enjoyed our experience of the v room before starting our Vegas holiday. Food excellent quality, and the hot chocolate was lush! Didn't go for the drinks option as had an early morning flight and didn't fancy 11hours on the plane wanting to dance 😂 But excellent entertainment none the less! Will defo use it again when we can afford another virgin holiday 😎

Amazing start to the holiday all staff friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do more for both of us! Made use of the bar very clean and tidy great food and drink menu will definitely book for our next virgin holiday!

Amazing experience, we have used an airport lounge before but the Virgin staff not just in the v lounge but in general can't do enough for you. First time we have flown with Virgin and if I get to opportunity again I will grab with both hands. We drove all the way from Doncaster to Gatwick to have the Virgin experience and they never let us down

A wonderful start to our holiday, lovely and relaxed and the staff were fantastic! Food was delicious and the kids were well entertained with the games room and facilities and we would definitely recommend using this service!

A nice chilled out way to start the holidays but was disappointed with the eggs benedict (I was actually served scrambled egg on top of a muffin with hollandaise sauce)!

This was out first holiday with Virgin and the v-room.

We were very dissapointed.

We were greeted by lovely staff and enjoyed our breakfast and coffee. Found a good seat and relaxed.

However when my husband went to collect our complimenary drinks he was told we had booked "standard" so we're not entitled to free drinks. We were not aware there was a level of booking at the v-lounge. We were not told this when we booked our holiday. He found this enbarrasing as there was a que behind him.

To make matters worse, the loung quickly became very busy and noisy. We found ourselves surrounded by a group who wanted to make sure they enjoyed the free drinks and became drunk and loud. We couldn't move to other seats as there were no free seats.

As we left the v-room to go to the boarding gate, we asked the lady who greeted us about this "standard " booking we had no idea about. She replied "sorry if I had known this I could have upgraded you"

We left feeling let down and dissapointed.

Food and drinks was good, however the area with a sign stating ‘over 12’s only’ was FULL of loud out of control under 12’s making this area annoying and rowdy when we wanted to relax
