Virtual School Sensory Support (Norfolk) set up this page to share information for vision impaired children, young people & their families. Based in Norwich and King's Lynn, we cover Norfolk and work in early years, homes, schools, colleges

Within Children's Services at Norfolk County Council, Virtual School Sensory Support champions the education of children and young people with a sensory loss, through delivery of comprehensive and flexible support to them and their families to help them develop high aspirations and reach their full potential. We work with children and young people aged 0-25 years.

This facebook page will inform you of current local events, educational information, news and resources. By sharing this facebook page we hope to bring families together in a fun and useful way.

We have a few moderation guidelines we'd like everyone to follow,

1. Please do not use this page to advertise personal information.
2. We will aim to respond as quickly and efficiently as possible, working within regular office working hours of 9-5 pm Mon-Friday.
3. Only post your own photos and do not use photos taken by anyone else.
4. We are part of Norfolk County Council Children's Services and a high level of sensitivity regarding pictures of children must be adhered to, any inappropriate posts will be removed /blocked.
5. We will not tolerate swearing, inappropriate or abusive language or content. Any posts that break this rule will be deleted.
6. If you have a valid complaint about someone or something we ask that you use Norfolk County Council complaints procedure.
7. Any personal criticism of named individuals will be deleted.
8. Although we manage the page, we will not be held responsible for any content posted on this site by others.
