Nothing to do tonight?😱 Think again... Supporting Headliner Stacy Silcox tonight is the goofy and peculiar, Stephanie Laing 😘 Her comedy is a mix of silliness, filth and unusual observations, underpinned by a disarming honesty which makes her seem charmingly vulnerable 🙌

User

Well what can I say? Viva was an amazing venue, set up fantastic.

Gazza on the other hand!! what a waste of a man & to turn up to see your fans who think you’re a legend in that state was disgusting!! £67.50 for a meet & greet - didn’t happen. Stand next to him for picture to be greeted with the stale stench of alcohol and him slurring. Stands on stage, well attempts to stand on stage, he was all over the place. After game analysis ? None existent. Q&A time - 4 questions ?? We went to see a legend, we seen someone who was once a legend and is now a joke. To turn up to work in that state is outrageous but to turn up to see your fans who paid good money for the privilege is totally disrespectful. He was a complete and utter let down! What a big waste of money. But the comments to that poor member of staff was shocking!

User

We attend this venue annually and have been impressed by its growth in terms of quality acts and the professionalism of the management and staff. We will be back up again later this year for another Viva Blackpool fix.

User

Thankyou to all at viva for giving such excellent friendly efficient service and making Doug's 80th birthday party so much fun!! Right from booking this venue for our 32 party guests, with Natasha Preston, who was so very helpful through to the brilliant show with the man himself Leye D Johns, Doug and Pat thank you all xx

User

Myself and my partner had our wedding reception in the round room part of Viva and all i can really say is "get it booked"...We started off with drinks in the Viva diner due to our wedding at the festival house across the road being at 1600hrs so we had around an hour before the room was available..The staff was brilliant, hard working and helped in any possible way they could. Amy the wedding organiser, was on hand all through the day and evening and looked how i felt by the end of the evening...LOL...Like everone else we was under that pressure hoping everything would be spot on and guess what "it was"..The reception staff the security staff the bar staff and the Dj was fantstic. Our guests came as far as Devon ,Brighton and Sheffield and are still talking about the reception to this day, and as a ex Licensee of 20 years in Blackpool and Dj i couldnt find fault whats so ever..a big massive thank you to everyone at Viva...you made myself and james a very happy couple xxxxxxxxxx

User

Me and hubby booked to see the Viva show. We decided to have a meal there too. The show was absolutely brilliant. Something in it for everyone. And Lee is hilarious. We were bowled over by the food too. We had 3 courses each. Everything was cooked to perfection. Well presented. Tasty. The service was excellent too. The piece de resistance was the after show party in the viva bar. The music played had everyone dancing. Fantastic. We hadn't planned to stay for more than 10 minutes in there but ended up dancing into the small hours! Live singer Tom McLeod was fantastic too. He sure can sing. Great night. Want to do it all again!!!

User

I've been to viva twice and both times I've really enjoyed it there. First time was to see The Jerseys ..it was a fantastic night ..what carried on well after 1 am ...The Bar staff were very efficient and we didn't wait long for our drinks , considering the amount of people that were in ..The 2nd time was last weekend to a wedding ..The venue was decorated beautifully..The food was lovely ..The hot food was nice and hot ..The Bar staff and waiters serving the food worked really hard..I was proud to be at a wedding here ..We loved it from start to finish..Keep up the good work ..we will most definitely be back this year sometime x

User

Had the best night tonight seeing the Michael Jordan high jinx show! Great show for all the family, and lovely cosy venue too!

User

Had a fantastic night at viva for the new cabaret show, I will be certainly recommending it to my guests.

Thank you Viva for Inviting us.

User

Fantastic show on Sunday with the Jersey Beats for out first visit to Viva. Excellent venue and staff. Won't be our last time there.

Sorry tho, with all the excitement we forgot to fill out our review at the table....five star without a doubt!!

User

Went to viva with hubby for mothers day was taken to our table noticed table next to us was laid for the meal our wasnt even though we had booked a meal spoke to a waitress who said she would check took my name and off she went to check another 3 different waitress came to table one said we haddent paid for meals showed her my conformation email that i recieved she went off came back 5 mins later and laid our table she said they had found our booking which had been booked on another website (i booked through an advert that came on Facebook) after all the confusion our food was brought which was lovely show was great i would recomend viva even after the confusion.

User

The Jerseys very good show however having got to our table for 6.30 as advised to do,so meals could be eaten prior to the show starting. We finished our soup at 7.00 but our main meal wasn’t served till 7.50.

It looked like all the diners were in the same boat. No explanation given.

User

Booker for the family New Years Eve party. Thought it was very over priced. The queue for the bar was over 15 mins with young and untrained staff (not their fault). It was advertised as full variety of entertainment. This didn't happen. It was just the High Jinx magic show due to unforseen circumstances ( bless him he tried his best to fill the whole night and was very good at what he did) but it left about an hour gap before 12am with no entertainment, the kids started to get bored and ratty and we were just hanging around. There wasn't even a dance floor. The food was extra and I'm glad I didn't pay because it looked awful, mass cooked buffet for over £20 each!!!! All in all I felt ripped off. Happy New Year.

User

After booking a table for four people, we arrived at the venue to find someone sitting at the table because someone had taken their seats on another table, we finally managed to get our allotted seats halfway through the show. There were hardly any waiting staff on duty so we had to keep on going to the bar, which closed early at the end of the show. We were informed over the course of the evening that there was an after show party to be held down stairs which was not the case. It was our worst visit to the venue. The only good thing on the night was the second half of the show. I shall definitely think twice before booking again :(

User

Went to go and see noasis perform tonight, a brilliant band however was thoroughly disappointed as all of the act had poor sound, both the headline and supporting act both had terrible feedback issues, of which the lead of noasis even pointed out, and when it continued we left the venue pointing it out to the sound engineer on duty in the booth, who proceeded to swear at my father in arrogance, with the least bit of professionalism of any venue you could go to, I will not be returning

User

The viva without the jerseys is nothing special, loads of great shows in venues all over the uk that compete with and even out do the viva, the jerseys live will pack out venues everywhere they perform and are the performers people want to see and the reason for this in a word QUALITY and not over the hill comedians well past their best, any decent performer leaves the viva for very good reason and that is they know what the people want, i would be happy to pay more if need be to see the jerseys live without some over the hill comedian thinking he has still got some pull, fact is that on the 22nd july 2016 the jerseys at whitby pavillion with little miss sixties as a support act was tons better than 30th march scarborough spa which was viva presents the jerseys oh what a nite full production show, reece oliver, sam cummins, the jerseys i would pay good money to see, but please leye d johns, roy chubby brown, joe longthorne, all may have been good in their time but come on i would not watch if i had free tickets, second rate tribute acts x factor rejects are supposed to make the viva the vegas of the north...do me a favour.

User

Paid £50 per couple to watch the world famous Elvis show. Not worth even half of that. Even though he had a great voice he Hardly sang any of Elvis's hits and only lasted 2 hours with a break in between that. Finished at 10pm and was rushing you to finish your drinks and leave the venue. Food luke warm and soggy. Don't waste your money

User

I am beyond disgusted at the attitude of the staff at viva last night. I bought tickets for my husband and son to see noasis last night. The band had issues with feed back and had asked the audience if they could hear the feedback to. My husband and son gave up during the show because it became impossible to enjoy the show. As they left they mentioned it to the sound engineer who very kindly told my husband to "go fuck yourselves " we definitely will not be coming back! Would you believe the sound engineer was a co owner of the place.
