This week we’re supporting Rail Safety Week – reminding us to promote and focus on bringing rail safety to the forefront of people’s minds. Whether working on site or using the railways to get from A to B, railway safety affects us all.

As the summer holidays approach, we are helping to increase awareness of railway safety by supporting the hashtag #YouvsTrain campaign. These hard-hitting, no win facts show the dangers faced when trespassing on the railway.

Great work by our #MPT joint venture for raising over £2,500 for Mind and the British Heart Foundation as part of mental health week.
Throughout the week the team took part in various sports events including a sports day; with a traditional school sports day theme using construction equipment, a 10k run and a rowing challenge. The team also has different gym equipment placed around their offices for staff to jump on and clock up a few extra miles.
Tonight, VolkerRail is up for three awards at Network Rail's Rail Partnership awards! Good luck also to #VolkerFitzpatrick who are a finalist in two categories
