Volkswagen Funerals

A lovely sunny couple of days reet up north for the funeral of an elderly lady who had travelled the world. The sun shone for her on her final journey. Working with Dominic and his team from Tom Woodhouse funeral directors in Blyth.

Up north today with Ernie for a ladies funeral that she had designed for herself to include the most remarkable coffin I've seen. I'm sorry that I can not post an image as I haven't asked permission but it was the Angel of the North and by that I mean created like a sarcophagus / statue bespoke from Creative coffins. It even had the rust drips as the real one does, so clever. Working with Eric Box Funeral directors in Dewsbury Yorkshire and AMC Carriage Masters with their silver limousines.

Back to Burton for a young scooterists funeral today where he was escorted to Bretby Crematorium by his scooter club. Working with Ward and Brewin (Co-op) Funeral service.

Ernie was out with Michelle today in Burton On Trent for a gentlemans funeral. Working with Murray's Funeral Directors.

Ernie was riding along side of 2 beautiful vintage Rolls Royces and a Route Master bus in Mansfield Woodhouse today. A W Lymn have a wonderful collection of vehicles that are available to hire. This gentleman certainly went out in style with all the bells and whistles. I've not seen so many flowers in a very long time too.

Essex today for Ernie, we haven't been this way for a while, we were working with our friends at Cribbs in Pitsea, Basildon for a gentleman who loved his classic cars and clearly had excellent taste judging by his stunning Amazon Volvo which followed behind him and his friends beautiful Ford Anglia behind that.

What a lovely sunny February day, Hearseby was in Portsmouth again today for a young ladies funeral. There was a lot of coloured hair in tribute to this colourful lady. Working with Southern Co-op Portsmouth.
We took advantage of a walk on the beach and the sea for some nice photos of the hearse before the funeral.

Hearseby was out for a change today in Scunthorpe for the funeral of a young lady who had planned her service and all its detail. Family and close friends wore her T-shirts, I haven't seen that done before. Most had inspirational quotes on them. Working with Ashby Funeral Care in Scunthorpe.

Ernie had the honour of taking a gentleman on his final journey today with the help of a wedding bus supplied by allluvdub.co.uk for his family to travel in. The flag was chosen to represent his occupation as a chef. Working with a lovely company R J Burgess, Normanton Wakefield.

Stunning scenery up North in Saddleworth today wow. Ernie took another young 'un 😔. We worked along with Pogson and Armitage funeral directors followed by Oldham Crematorium.

Ernie spent the day in the spring sunshine today in the west side of London. These photos were taken at the incredible Kensall Green Cemetery. If you like history or cemeteries or both then pop this one on your to visit list, it is fascinating. Friends of Kensall Green have an interesting website of the notable people here, Isambard Kingdom Brunel is amongst them!

A couple of days in Eastfield for us and we dodged the awful weather for his funeral too. The same can't be said for the journey down. Pictured at Eastbourne crematorium working along with Axell-Eames Funeral service.

Ernie was working with F M & J Wait Funeral Directors today for the final journey of a young lady.

Ernie was out in Ramsbottom yesterday, we haven't been there before. It has hills! 😲 any VW owners will appreciate my concerns Im sure. We managed OK, and safely delivered our gentleman to East Lancashire Crematorium. Working with Signature Funerals.

Anybody who has lost their child will relate to Rob Delaneys interview with Russell Howard. There are swear words, who doesn't want to swear when their child has died hey. Take the time to just watch this interview. He was so brave to talk so openly. What a Dad. His boy Henry was 2 years old and died of a brain tumour.

What a send off you gave with Ernie for the much loved Steve Haynes from Burton on Trent to Bretby Crematorium via TL Darby accompanied by 80+ scooters. ��

Very professional service with 5 star staff. It is always the little things that you notice - the green flag fluttering away on top for a proud Irish lass - cracking job!

They were brilliant, especially when other cars got in the middle of the obvious cortège. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of using them. Thank you once again. Made a sad day a little happier.

I knew my sisters final journeys had to be in a camper after having such fond memories of holidaying in her Daddy’s� but no breakdowns this time like in their stories. Ernie is absolutely stunning and you do a fabulous job, Thankyou x

Faced with arranging the funeral for my beautiful son, Harry, aged 13, I knew exactly what I didn't want. He was full of life and love and a standard black hearse wasn't for him. Harry loved campervans so when I found Volkswagen Funerals, I knew this would be perfect for Harry's journey. Clare was amazing, she supported me and guided me in what truly is the worst experience of my life. Hearseby was personalised with ribbons and a flag in Harry's favourite colours, I knew Harry would be smiling with approval.
