What a brilliant evening with zara elliot and friends

Nice and cosy place, good prices and great accoustics
London Jazz Orchestra were amazing, lovely little venue, reasonable bar prices, nice people/ staff.
Keep up with the fantastic job done so far, as the local community really needs more places like Vortex to make the quarter better and more engaging for long years to come.
I lost my deceased grandmas's precious gold cross and chain at the Carnival on September 11th. I was in gillett Square part of the time. If anyone handed it in please can you let me know. I can identify it by it's markings and am happy to pay a reward for it's return, thanks, Caroline
Had an absolute scream. It is completely nuts. Jazz was brilliant and we all had so much fun

There is a nice bar with reasonable prices and an intimacy atmosphere.

Great club and wonderful audience, it's been a pleasure to perform here. I look forward to come back!
Explosive start with foot tapping tune from Calum Gourlay's Big Band captured the audience from the very beginning of the first set but the repertoire ranged from melodic ballad-style tunes to inventive arrangements of bebop and everything between. The modest Calum had to be drawn to owning up as composer of many of the pieces which will be classics themselves one day.
Brilliant, super relaxed and friendly jazz club run by friends. Amazing music every night and some lunchtimes. A great place to listen or perform.
Beautiful intimate venue, very funky and cosy, warm friendly staff, good prices
