Totally abysmal service. I've never seen somebody be so rude and condescending to customers who just wanted help with their bike. If you're new to the sport, don't bother coming in or asking for advice unless you want to be talked down to and ripped off. Obviously has no time for anybody except keen road cyclists.

And selling used bikes with 10-year old components for £3000? Are you kidding me...

I have no idea how this shop is still open after 10+ years.

Excellent service. I have bought several bikes and equipment. Through his knowledge as a CAT 1 racer and many years in the trade Chris knows clearly what is right and needed for the rider. I have spent a lot but saved a lot through good advice and quality goods with competitive prices.
However, if one enters the shop with an obnoxious manner as some people have, then quite rightly, that will be reflected. If you are respectful, he will kindly reflect that.

Get your bike repaired, get advice, get a new bike from a local shop not just for local people

Arrogant. Rude. Uninterested in serving people who come in. Would rather carry on chatting with mate in shop than help potential customers. Stood right next to the guy for a good 5 minutes hoping he would realise I had a wad of cash in my pocket to spend on a bike. Totally ignored, so left. Bikes overpriced but needed something quickly. Shop online, it'll be cheaper. Look at all the other genuine reviews. Hopefully these are read by the owner. And people wonder why customers shop online more. This shop is an example of why.
