Once upon a time before gin became trendy and G& Ts were only ever made with Gordon’s, we started our own gin collection. Brockmans led on to Broker’s and soon enough our drinks cabinet became a shrine to the spirit we love… gin!
After converting our friends and family into fellow gin-lovers, we decided to take our passion for gin one step further, and the idea of V. SQ was born! With a lot of hard work and ginteresting research and tasting sessions, V. SQ opened its doors on 16th December 2015 with a very warm welcome from the local area.
Since opening, our gin selection has grown from 40 to over 170 different brands and we pride ourselves on being at the front of the sampling line when we hear about new ones on the market. Whether it’s a gin inspired by the spices of India like Opihr Gin or distilled in our home county, Yorkshire, like Spirits of Bronte’s Yorkshire Lass’ Gin, we love to see our customers sampling new flavours alongside our tasting platters and homemade cakes!
Our bar is situated just off Skipton High Street in the quaint Victoria Square, with an outside seating area for summertime refreshments and a cosy luxurious interior for wintry evenings.

We fell on this place by accident last night and . WOW! Wish we'd found it sooner! Great drinks from a lovely girl who recommended Gins and different flavours of tonic and fruits to us. Gorgeous place with a fab atmosphere. ....can't wait to come again !

V.S.Q is a wonderful place, never seen as many gins in one place and the bar staff are brilliant, they know everything there is to lnow about gin. ����

Our first visit to this place last night and love it .... why we have not been before god only knows. Atmosphere and decor are spot on and the staff are second to none. Very knowledgeable, could not be more helpful and nothing seems too much trouble, love the place and can't wait to get back for some more gin !
Loved everything, the decor, toilets, made to feel very welcome as we were gin novices, Megan was very knowledgable when it came to which gin to choose and tonic, the gorgeous dog William was an added bonus, will definately be back��� Dogs and Gin, what more can you ask for �
It's was the first time we had been in this place I can honestly say it was fantastic over 200 gins and few different vodka not bad prices either lovely decor exceptional clean the two young gentlemen behind the bar was so helpful and made us a cocktail off the cuff and when my friend had a coughing fit they came over with a glass of water if your ever in skipton you must pay it a visit def would be going back
It was a great atmosphere, cake and coffee lovely , followed by a cocktail. Great friendly team , made our furry pooch very welcome , we will be back!!!
I will be 100% honest I initially thought the drinks were very expensive for Gin but when you actually go and try all the fantastic Gin's and mixers and the experience it is excellent. I do think it is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. I really enjoyed it.
Had a great night last night. Staff friendly and chatty. Made us some cocktails - not from a menu and gave great advice on some gins. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys
Great gin menu and lovely atmosphere
Brilliant place. Comfortable armchairs and sofas. Relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of Gins, and staff very helpfull and knowledgable. A definite must 'go to' Gin bar. Don't miss it!!!
Brilliant bar staff, great choice of gins, and good knowledge of what they were, well priced would certainly recommend
Brilliant and attentive staff, even to the point where they remembered our order (thankfully as we didn't and we all wanted the same again � )
They have all manner of tipples for all tastes. Excellent and highly recommended. X

A real hidden gem, friendly, with a real homely feel. Having never liked gin, with the help of excellent guidance from knowledgeable staff I managed to find one to drink.... than quickly moved on to champagne... all this and nibbles too..... will definitely be back.
Very chic, comfy place - with a huge gin menu!
Only complaint - ditch the silly little plastic straws! They are too short to be practical (kept falling into my drink!) besides being pollutants...
Lovely bar and very comfortable, the staff seem to know what they're talking about regarding their products. Was served by a very chatty barman who served me while telling me what he was doing with my drink which was great. He even made me a drink that wasn't on the menu which was brilliant. Overall really enjoyed my experience and will go back in the near future.
Funky bar in Skipton . I had a very tasty G&T there . My Husband enjoyed his German beer . We sat outside and watched the world go by on a lovely sunny afternoon . The inside is really funky . Served by a very nice young man .Loved it .
