Waddington Dramatic Society Description
Our theatre company continues to serve the Lincolnshire village of Waddington and the wider, surrounding districts of Lincoln, performing all aspects of dramatic theatre, from tense thrillers, to comedies and pantomime. We are not limited to the production of plays by well-known authors, but have also performed and tested unpublished plays by local writers.
Waddington Dramatic Society meets most Thursdays at Waddington Village Hall. We are divided into two groups; the Youth Group and the Senior Group. The Youth Group boasts an active membership but are always on the lookout for more young people to join - usually aged from 12 years of age. The Senior Group takes members aged from 18 and above, although this rule is variable depending upon ability.

We are really getting excited about our auditions for Peter Pan but we need your help. For our next panto we need actors, backstage crew, technical crew and front of house volunteers, and now is a great time to join our friendly group at Waddington Drama and be involved in this magical production for 2020. Ladies and Gentlemen! It has.....BEGUN! Our search for new members officially continues with auditions for our NEXT pantomime.......Jonah and The Gale! Another original masterpiece from our very own Maggie Bailey! A hilarious continuation from the story we all know of Jonah and The Whale, where Jonah meets islanders with a rather strange Chief whilst being chased by a villainous sea witch and her sidekick.
Our journey starts with 3 weeks of auditions this Thursday 14th June running through to 28th June and we are searching for cast as well as members to join our backstage and technical team. It's back to work here for us after a 4 show run of "A Very Charming Panto!". We're looking forward to bringing you some new shows and starting some new projects with both our youth and adult group.
