What a great place, haz arrived here yesterday . When I walked in the door , I immediately felt the buzz. The racing on one TV, the football on another. People dining, others shouting their horse across the winning line while some are disposing of their losing betting slip. Haz meets up with Tommy Kelly and the boss Brett who has sorted haz with accommodation got the night. It's one of these places where everyone is welcome. Any way haz hits the bed at around midnight. When I get up in the morning and come down to the bar for breakfast , I can't believe my eyes. Jaysus the place is alive . It's like as if no one has gone home, there is another crew in now . It's like shift work here . All I can say is this, anyone coming to Newmarket would be crazy to bypass this place. This is the real mc coy , a mighty fine place, spotless clean with lovely staff, customers and it's the works. Come and witness it first hand .

What a fantastic crowd of friendly people! Really make you welcome and with plenty of fun loving people. To top it all, a stupendous karaoke from Pat the man!! Hopefully will be there again soon.

Travelled from lowestoft to visit family on sunday and was looking for a Sunday roast and saw the sign in the window. I must say the food was amazing and at an excellent price. Will most certainly be popping in next time I am down. Thankyou to your staff for a lovely welcome

I celebrated my birthday here last night and the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Had a fantastic night with an amazing atmosphere. A very fun and up beat pub with lovely people. They also had a fantastic singer/vocalist. Definately will come back there.

I know pubs are more for drinking than eating. If you offer a menu the food shouldn't take more than 40 minutes. It tasted good. When tea is ordered it might be an idea to ask if the person would like milk and sugar (yes its a pub but sometimes only tea will do)
