Also on hot, sunny days like today we make sure we find as much shade as we can to keep the doggies out of the heat for too long. Ozzie with his big old coat isn’t best suited for this kind of weather so we went out this morning to avoid the hottest part of the day, quick trot round the field and then spent most of our time in the woods where it was much cooler. Here’s an interesting fact I bet at least some of my doggie loving friends weren’t aware of 😳 Did you know when they drink water from their bowl they lap it up using the bottom of their tongue rather than the way we would do? On sunny days like this - when we always have lots of water with us 💦💦 - they drink so quickly you wouldn’t probably notice, but here’s my mate Ozzie demonstrating in slow motion. Exciting news incoming!! I mentioned recently that #waggytailswymondham is getting so busy that I need some help with taking all the fab doggies for walkies, so I’m absolutely delighted to welcome my first new team member to join the crew! Kittens update! Both doing fantastically well, mummy too - she literally hasn’t stopped purring every time I’ve seen her this week, she looks so proud of her awesome little babies, bless her. I’ve had such an awesome week dog sitting for this extremely handsome boy while his lovely family have been on holiday. Ozzie is such a brilliant doggie, so friendly and sure loves his cuddles! Oh my goodness, this thing I do that I’m fortunate enough to be able to call a ‘job’ just gets more and more ridiculous! Popped round this evening to see a couple of beautiful pussy cats that I’m feeding for the next week to discover that Nellie has had two kittens at some point today!! She wasn’t due for another fortnight so a bit of a surprise, but both appear fit and healthy and are literally the most adorable things I’ve ever seen! 😍😍 Mummy is looking great and didn’t stop purring the entire time I was with them, bless her.
