New good manners Beginners course starting this Thursday 23rd August at 6.15 pm We have one space remaining.
Cost £70 (includes membership) for 8 week course. Lessons 50mins to 1 hour.
... Course covers: Sit - down - stand Recalls Focus work around other dogs Handling and Grooming Walking on loose lead Stays Building confidence and a better relationship with your dog. Playing with toys
Max 4 dogs on the course. If you would like to book a space please pm us for more details. This course is for non reactive dogs, dogs on the course must be happy to be approached by other dogs.

Now setting off to see if hall has stayed cool. As the breeze we need is not here today. So please check before setting off today. X

Classes will be going ahead this evening in the hall. With curtains closed, windows open with this lovely breeze plus several fans on we are managing to keep the hall cool enough to hold classes. 🐾

Very sorry everyone but I have to cancel all of todays classes as it is due to hit 31degrees today. So far every single member of WaggyTails has agreed this week that it is far too hot to train their dogs. (very proud not one complaint that I have cancelled so many classs) Even with indoor facilities and fans I believe it is unfair to ask dogs to train in this heat, its not worth the risk. We are just not used to it, neither are our woofers. We have only temporarily lost our... lovely cooling Easterly sea breeze, it will return soon - (tomorrow they say!) Keep your woofers cool and off the pavements, please remember even in the evening tarmac holds the heat! If your not sure walk bare foot first to see how hot it is for your feet, if it burns you it will burn their paws. If you have air con in the car then try the beach or the shade of the woods in the early morning or late evening (mosies might eat you alive!) if you feel they must have a walk. Many will zonk out in the heat.... let them! :-) Chizel is enjoying his time off on the couch! Tomorrow it is going to be cooler by 7 degrees so they say, so we should be back to training classes as normal, well shade can and fans and what else is needed as its still going to be warm, if anyone who has missed their classes during the week wants to train tomorrow feel free to message me and hopefully we can fit you in a class tomorrow, if not looking at the forecast we should be ok next week for classes. Sorry everyone I am cancelling ALL this afternoon classes. It is too hot, we have lost our lovely sea breeze the air is still and hot it is not worth bringing your woofers out in the heat for training however much you enjoy it. Please message me if you would like to attend a class in the evening if it cools later.

The temp today is looking to hit 26c so its going to be another hot day. All classes will be held in the hall today with the fans on. However if you or your dog feels the heat please stay at home in the cool. Do not leave any dogs in cars in the car park! Enjoy the sunshine if you can 😎x
