Sovereign started in Bognor Regis in 1996 as a family owned business. Since then it has grown to become UK’s largest remanufacturer of auto electrical components such as starter motors and alternators.

Currently, it employs 110 staff and has an annual turnover exceeding
£13million.

In 2013, it became the first remanufacturer to win Car & Accessory Trader magazine's (CAT) of the year award.

Sovereign became part of US automotive giant WAIglobal, which has enabled it to grow and develop into new markets such as lesuire and marine and also brought about the introduction of new products and services designed to meet a customer's exact requirements.
