Horrible staff, went to the basket service counter today, brunette assistant with her hair in a bun didn't say one word gave me the blankest look ever! At least have the decency to be courteous. They need to invest in better quality staff.

You get what you pay.
So higher Prices if you compare it with other grocery stores but better quality and it's worth it because it's not that expensive.

If you want a lesson in the A - Z of bad customer service, pay this place a visit. I am regularly amazed by how rude and uncustomer-focused the team there are. I would say that I generally spend about 30% of my time there shopping, and 70% waiting for the checkout staff to meander at the pace of an asthmatic ant to come and serve you. You will often find that you are interrupting two staff members' conversation (more often than not about another member of their team) when it is finally your turn to pay for your food. I think, for a supermarket that is charging top prices for their goods, customer service is something that these guys really need to take a look at.

P.s. If you are gluten free don't bother taking the trip. Head over to Sainsburys where they have 10 times as much stock for a 3rd of the price.

super badly organized and extremely unfriendly staff. each time I go there there is a huge queue at the baskets only check out and they never bother opening more than two tills. when I tried the self check-out and it didn't work with my credit card a staff member just looked at me without saying a word and pressed a button on the screen. I was still stood there and nothing worked. after telling her two more times that nothing was working she then sent me to some kind of service counter who then finally managed to take my credit card and help me. considering the fact that they have extremely high prices compared to other super markets the customer experience there is an absolute joke

If you were to pick up a lovey Waitrose Hand Stretched, Thin and Crispy Pepperoni Pizza, close your eyes and throw it, you'd probably hit a member of staff. There's a lot of them. Which is useful.

Pleasant staff with reasonable customer service. However I always find myself being followed around the store by the lone security guard and I'm pretty fed up with it. This of course makes the shopping experience awful and intimidating.
Made a serious complaint about this to the store manager and head office and hoping for a swift apology.

Nice store but stock levels usually seem pretty low, especially the stuff that people buy yo take into the cinema

food was fine but HORRIBLE woman working at the cafe- short red hair, very rude to 11 year old boy who sat down to eat before his parents had brought the food. She then shook her head at our family as we left after spending over £20. We sat outside in the rain to eat our meal that we would have liked to enjoy inside the cafe.Will not be coming back as long as that rude lady works there.
