Had a great time very cold when seated near windows, but music fab food looked excellent staff seemed friendly although in beach bar only had one barman who was very good but could of had help, it was exceptionally busy has rugby on and football, and you couldn't complain about not being able to see as in view with many screens! I felt safe due to the security people you felt that wasn't slacked on and could be seen and they seemed vigilant! Very recommended

User

Just need more bar staff during big rugby games. Went to see England v Australia and there were only 5-6 people behind the bar. A place that big needs to have at least 10 people behind a that big in my opinion. Otherwise a great place to go friendly staff and always good to go there!

User

Went in yesterday 29 th Jan 2017. Not many in ,and not a single bar staff in sight! Waited 10 mins despite calling out and knocking on the bar (which I hate to do!) Eventually had to go to the food bar where a staff could see us while she casually polished cutlery, and for her to come and serve us. Won't be going back in a hurry....

User

We went there to watch the rugby. For the first 40 min the football was also on so the sound was for the t.v. showing the football (although the majority of people in the pub was there for the rugby). Anyhow we waited for the football to finish and asked to have the sound on for the rugby. They just simply couldnt seem to find a good solutions. I mean the rugby tv's had the sound on but the football's was too loud and was covering our sound. They didnt seem to really know what to do, they couldnt turn it off or change the channel or even conect the rugby tv to the big speaker instead of having adverts on... Weird.

The food was good but the staff either very new and inexperienced or undermanaged. Shame as it's such a good venue for watching sports. True, if you seat by the windows its cold. Its probably better for a night out rather than a chilling sporty sunday.

User

Good selection of drinks and good location. Seems to be a regular meet up point for those going to any boat events leaving from the Temple Pier etc.

Be aware of long queues and slow service at times.

User

Went yesterday before a Thames soul cruise hoping to have a nice meal. We didn't stay as there was no proper menu, they had no tonic for my G n T . Someone else was complaining because they didn't have the beer they wanted. It was a dive. We ended up walking quite a distance to a McDonald's and had to rush to be back. Won't be going back

User

We went in to watch the rugby league as an Australian team where playing an English team and of all the bars in London we figured this would be the place to watch it. We were wrong the management had gone with the football! They had put the rugby on with commentary on some tvs however you couldn't her it over the football commentary. On top of that they had ran out of ALL larger on draft and only had bottles. Apparently they clean the pipes once a week - maybe this should not be done at a weekend when your busy or open! Food for thought!

User

The Punk IPA was a nice pint, but my mate on Heineken had to take his pint back!. when it comes to food service it was awful. The food was brought relatively quickly but without cutlery or condiments. The chicken and chorizo burger was awful. The chicken was dry and the skinniest piece of meat I've ever seen. The juices were long gone from this. The upside was nothing to do with pub, it was the Rugby League event in he side room with Martin Offiah speaking before a televised game.

In short this place needs to buck up its act in regards food or just forget about it and concentrate on beer and sport

User

went in to watch the British lions match as advertised (8 30 kick off)to find out they wasn't selling alcohol till 11 o clock ordered breakfast and the bacon come absolutely cremated sent it back to get some the same and some extra breakfast after that which we didn't want no communication and organisation get it sorted!!!

User

Yeah not great, even pointing to the menu saying what I wanted she didn't understand me. Pie Shops open says the big sign but the contemptuous look I got when I asked for a pie (Sun avo - 2pm) followed by 'We do t have pies delivered till later' Later, when the flucks later?

User

Worst bar in London. Incompetent bar staff, over-priced drinks and if you want any beer other than Fosters or Heineken then you're going to be out of luck..

Hardly an Aussie bar these days..

User

Went to watch the rugby last weekend -- the place smelled like death -- think someone puked in the middle of the place and their seem to be little urgency to make it better for the people who were still there. The bartending service is dire as well -- never enough on staff and they move at a glacial pace at the best of times...

User

The place is abysmal.

Filthy, disorganized, the food is atrocious, the staff rude, slow, incompetent and careless, I observed for several seconds a waiter opening a whiskey bottle WITH HIS TEETH, another one shamelessly picked something from his mouth with his fingers, and then put the same fingers INSIDE the glasses he was serving, I've waited 10 minutes at the bar waiting to be considered when the venue was almost empty.

I could go on for a few chapters, I just don't want to lose another minute thinking about that appalling dumpster.

User

Possibly the worst meal ever. Hardly anything was available, they substituted salad with chips. food was cold, tasted very old and you could play tennis with the rubber beetroot. We took one bite and demanded our money back and left. As this was a quick bite with family before the theatre, we were

Left having to grab a burger on the way. This place should be closed down.

User

It was my first and last time for sure that I'll party there. Rude staff, shitty securities they only let their friends get in, almost one hour and several arguings with them you get in and the place is empty, dirty, floor is sticky and full of rubbish. Don't waste your time and money!!!! 🤢🤢🤢🤢😡😡😡😡😡

User

I was a regular during the summer/autumn months of 2016. I hadn't come here at all this year except for tonight. I must say I'm disappointed with how it has been. The music channel that was shown on the TV was actually better than what the DJ was playing.

This place used to be full of people. But now I can count the amount of people on 2 hands! What has happened to this place? Staff look disinterested. The toilets are a mess and getting served in this place is a miracle even when it's practically empty and drinks are almost 50% more expensive than previously!

I hope this improves in the future because I won't be coming back here again if this trend continues. Ive been bored to tears tonight and can't help but feel this is how it is for most of the week

User

I came here for the first time for the NRL Grand Final 2016 and loved it (probably because my team won). Since then I've come for the last 3 Origin games and been disappointed, tonight's appearance (Game 3) was the last. No more cider on tap at 6PM. We were also told there was no food being served (at 6:30PM) and yet at 8:15PM I STILL saw people getting food. So either you lied to me or you took last orders before 6:30 which meant people waited almost 2 hours before getting their food - either way, you suck. Spent 20 minutes waiting to be served a couple of pints of beer before giving up and getting my ass in a cab to watch the game elsewhere. Also, watch your drunk patrons. Some f***tard who was clearly shitfaced spat out the score of the game before kick off - apparently he'd been getting smashed since midday and couldn't even walk properly. All in all, I'm done with this place. Next time I'm going to The Slug.

User

Hopeless, slow lazy staff. Waited over an hour for food then it was inedible, garlic bread was like a sheet of fried hardboard and black. It went back and what arrived in it's place seemed to be a sheet of warm plasterboard.

User

A really nice sized area set out for big crowds to come and watch the sport on the many screens available, but that cannot hide the fact that this place has possibly the worst bar service I have witnessed. Nearly every one of the bar staff looked totally disinterested in being there. There was absolutely no urgency in getting customers served. The toilets were semi flooded and on entry to the main area was an awful sick smell.

This place could be an absolute gold mine if it was run properly.
