Christmas pudding anyone?
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. We had a crazy busy Summer and it has only just started to quieten off!! We hope you are all good and had a fab bonfire weekend!
Anybody else get inspired by the bake off? Viennese swirls in the tearoom this week, they really are melt in the mouth!

We get asked quite often about gluten free so thought we would share with you a selection of what we offer that is suitable. We can fry most of our fish in gluten free batter and it is all cooked in a separate pan and our chips are fried in a chip only pan. We have puds too! X
We all had a really good meal 5 of us had the cod and chips ,all very good.l had the steak pie ,it was excellent glaves steak l believe! Really enjoyed the occasion, good staff nice atmosphere. Will go again ,plenty of space not too over crowded.
Very nice haddock. If you go at lunchtime you won't want any tea!
This is the best fish and chip and afternoon tea restaurant ever! Beautiful fresh food, friendly and professional service and desserts to die for! Not to be missed if you visit the Scarborough area.
This is the BEST fish and chip's by far and the puds are to die for, I had coffee, walnut & maple pavlova, the Like I have NEVER tasted before my husband had the Eton mess which had tons of fresh fruit in it!! I recommend you book as it is very popular ππ

More than just fish and chips! We had smoked haddock and lemon sole with salad and new potatoes - beautiful and all slimming world free ( I think!).
Looked all over Scarborough for GF fish and chips to no avail! this gem popped up on Google. The fish was large chips beautifully cooked and the nicest mushy peas for a long time! I was also offered GF bread, vinegar and tatare sauce. The GF menu is fab Scamp too!!!! l am a convert!
I had salmon steak, my husband had tuna steak and my brother in law and partner had steak pie. All were delicious, cooked to perfection and served by hard working, delightful staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had (as ever) a most enjoyable evening. I can't recommend Walker's too highly - and for that reason you need to book!! οΏ½
I come from Italy and was invited here by my family who live locally. What a delicious meal, fresh and tasty. The batter was amazing with haddock which melted in your mouth. Great service too! I will definitely come here again on my next visit!
I booked a family party of 12 on Saturday night and Iβve had nothing but praise for the food, the atmosphere and the great, friendly, helpful staff. Definitely visit again. Thanks for making it such a special night ππ
Great meal, lovely surroundings. We had haddock. Thankfully (and unusually for around here) the skin was removed. Therefore there wasn't a "soggy bottom" of batter, it was crisp and tasty all round the fish. Very light and golden batter too. We had pudding. Petty amazing to see their puds in the cabinet even if you don't want one, as they're out of this world. Unusual to find a country restaurant open late-ish too, last orders 7.30pm Saturday evening.
Gorgeous as always, by far the best fish n chips ever! Even the 96 year old lady I had with me just about cleaned her plate and ate the batter which she usually picks off! I had the scampi yesterday, absolutely spot on, delicious! Lovely staff too, need to not leave it as long the next time!
Excellent place to eat. Service is top notch, food is yummy (leave room for their desserts!). Child friendly with colouring books and puzzles.
As always we enjoyed our meal,my husband had the smoked haddock which he enjoyed but he did comment as to the portion size which seemed to be very much smaller than normal.
An incredible place. The best fish and chips I've ever had and the service was amazing. Cannot recommend it enough.
Amazing!! and I'm talking about the Gluten Free Fish & Chips. Best I've had yet In 10 years of being diagnosed with Coeliacs Disease. Wouldn't know the difference and it even comes with gluten free bread. The portions are huge too :) well worth paying those few extra pennies. Already been back twice since my first visit. Definitely worth the travel from East Yorkshire.
Always look forward to eating fish and chips here. Perfectly cooked fish..flaky and white. Plenty of alternative choices too if fancy something different. It is licensed too so choice of drinks. One downside.....doesn't do curry sauce....but the tartare sauce makes up for that.
Always great freshly cooked food, especially like the desserts being on view - even though it makes choosing more difficult! Friendly staff, nice location and reasonably priced. Will certainly be going back and always recommend Walkers to family and friends.
