Hello all this week's pie of the week is Duck in a black cherry, spring onion and brandy gravy. Also myself and James would like to say a big thank you to Olivia, Paul and Julie from the spotted cow for inviting walkers little pie shop to open a small food stall at the Unique gin festival last weekend. It was a long and tiring day, but very enjoyable.

hi all, this weeks pie of the week is coq au vin ( chicken and pancetta cooked in red wine with onions, mushrooms and fresh herbs). also to let you know its that time of year again when I head to the races with the girls and leave james holding the fort, so on Thursday I will nip in very earlier in the morning to make the hot pies for lunch, unfortunately this means there will be a limited number, so if you are planning on calling in on Thursday by all means give us a ring W...ednesday at some point with your order so we can guarantee you will get the pie of your choice ready for when you get here. the shop will then be closed from 2pm on Thursday and we will not be open again until Tuesday after the bank holiday weekend, so if you are needing any family or individual pies for the weekend please give us a call at the shop a.s.a.p. hope you all have a fab bank holiday.

Hi all as we have hit a bit of a heat wave we thought this week we wont go with a pie but our take on a Russian classic , borscht (beetroot, onions, sweet potato and garlic cream cheese) but in a quiche rather than a soup. We also have lots of other quiche fillings as well as our sausage rolls, pasties, corned beef ploughman's slice etc... All our other pies are also available.

User

Hi all to carry on with the world cup theme this week's pie of the week is Chicken Kiev (chicken in a creamy garlic and parsley sauce topped with cheese and parsley bread crumbs)

User

Wow!! Just had a ‘sloppy hash’ pie, and it was beyond delicious, my mum had a lamb pie which she also raved over!! Will definitely be returning VERY soon xxxx

User

Without doubt one of the best pies I've ever eaten brisket and stilton gorgeous.

User

What a gem in Driglington. Most recently we had the Chicken and Mushroom with a stuffing crust and it was divine as have all the pies we've tasted. We keep an eye out for the Pie of the Week and if it takes our fancy we order a family one which gives us three very generous helpings. The pies always have ample filling and the pastry is to die for. Our favourite of all has to be the Rabbit pie but having been through the menu you really cannot fault any of them. With a side order of mash, pies and gravy it really is value for money if you take into account the price of takeaways.

User

Ordered a family sized hot smoked salmon quiche for a picnic. It was really delicious. All my friends remarked how good it was and there was enough left for lunch today. Excellent value, generous size and, above all, terrific taste!

User

Loved the sausage rolls! All the pies are amazing, the meat is so tender, full of flavours and gorgeous, my favourite is the chicken, ham and leek! yum yum! and the christmas boozy mince pies are amazing!! never eaten a mince pie that I've liked...until these!

User

Lamb & Mint pie was one of the best pies I've ever had! Deliciously tender lamb and beautiful flavours and my partner loved the chicken ham and leek too! Lovely service, a great little find!

User

Just had the new fish pie with salmon and smoked haddock an it was divine. Can't beat the food quality

User

Just had my second visit and yum yum simply beautiful, can't say I've had a pie quite as good and I've had a few. I feel this could become an addiction

User

Just had a Lamb pie, peas, mash and gravy. Got a chicken & stuffing pie for Kathy. The pies were full of chunky meat with lovely homemade crusts. The homemade mash, peas and tasty gravy was more than enough for 2. A fine hearty delicious meal for this freezing cold winters night. Have bought food from here quite a few times now and never been disappointed. All for less than the cost of a takeaway and on my way home. Well worth it !

User

I bought various pies, sausage rolls and a quiche for an outdoor event at the weekend and all were very much enjoyed. The Brisket and Stilton pie went down particularly well with our boat driver.
