GP Fit Notes/ Sick Notes
We are receiving lots of calls from patients enquiring about sick notes relating to Covid-19.
If you require a sick note (GP Fit Note/ Med Cert 3) from a GP for an existing health condition to submit to your employer to receive sick pay, please specifically check with your employer that this is still required because some employers have waived this requirement due to the pressure on GPs at this time.

** Coronavirus support for clinically extremely vulnerable people **

The following link is for patients who should be shielded because they have a medical condition which makes them extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (COVID-19) but didn’t get the Government letter. There was a social media post that was shared numerous times regarding a “rescue pack” for Covid-19. Unfortunately, there is no such thing and we ask that you do not request these from the practice.

You are able to get an isolation sick note without contacting the practice. Please use the link attached for this.

To order your repeat prescriptions please use one of the following options.
Order via systemoneonline if you have already registered for this.
Post your repeat prescription request in the post boxes outside the practices.
... Download the NHS app on to your phone, you will be required to upload a form of photo ID and you will then be able to request medication.
If you already have it set up so that your medications are requested by an online service continue to do this.

We have been advised that all prescriptions should go electronically to your chosen pharmacy. Many patients already have this set up. We ask that those patients who have repeat prescriptions, ensure that either we or the chemist you use knows your chosen chemist for this service.
We will continue to ensure that once you have requested the mediation from us, the prescription will be at your chosen chemist within 48 hours. The chemists themselves have their own waiting times and during this difficult time this may be longer than normal. We ask that you be patient with them as they are working as hard as they can.
You may want to check the opening times of your chosen pharmacy as this may have changed.

I’m view of the current Covid-19 pandemic we are making some essential changes to how the practice runs. As per last weeks post, all appointments are being telephoned triaged and only those invited up to the surgery will be allowed in. This is for your own safety as well as the practice staff.
