2018 Trail characters revealed!

We want to say a massive thank you to ParentPay who raised a whopping £42,000 for us! This impressive total is down to the generosity of parents using iRoundup when making their payments to school! iRoundup is a great scheme which rounds up school payments to the nearest pound, with the excess being given to charities like us.
This brilliant idea was conceived by 5 amazing students from Skinners' Academy.
We are so grateful for your support and know how much of a difference ...this money will make to sick children and their families.

It’s been three days since a record number of people took to London’s streets for the London Marathon, and we hope you’ve all recovered! We want to say a very special thank you to Katie Aartse-Tuyn and Ritchie Jackman (pictured below with his two boys before the run) who have raised a truly fantastic amount for Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and also to Aquaint who donated the places. Exciting news from Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal!

We were delighted to visit beneficiary Richard House Children's Hospice with BBC London recently to see how the funds from our new charity partner, ParentPay's iRoundUp scheme, will make a huge difference to patients like Henrique.

We are thrilled to have been chosen by ParentPay as its charity to benefit from their new ‘iRoundUp’ scheme. ParentPay are the market leading online payment and dinner money management solution for schools and caterers which is used by hundreds of thousands of parents each week.
The fundraising initiative has been developed by five teenagers from Skinners’ Academy in Hackney, East London as part of their school business project. The students won a national business competitio...n led by Mosaic Network, a mentoring initiative of The Prince’s Trust, with their idea ‘iRoundUp’; a scheme that rounds up payments made to schools using ParentPay’s online payment service, with the excess being donated to nominated charities.
iRoundUp has been rolled out across ParentPay’s entire UK platform and is now available to approximately 2 million parents. So far, over £12,000 has been raised for Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity!
Clint Wilson, ParentPay CEO, said, “iRoundUp is an excellent concept: the idea of students donating spare change to charities via ParentPay is simple but ingenious. Designed for an increasingly cashless society, iRoundUp is a digital charity box allowing students and their families to donate small amounts that can make a big difference to other people’s lives. We love the fact that our supporting five students from Skinners’ Academy in developing their skills, has allowed them to go on to support thousands more young people, with the money raised via iRoundUp.”

We're pleased to announce we are now accepting grant applications for 2017!
We fund projects that ensure that while in hospital and hospice care, children can still play, socialise and recuperate from treatment in a child-friendly environment. We also support parents and siblings as we know how vital it is to care for the whole family during extremely difficult times.
