We went to the bonfire on sunday night was brilliant well worth the money the fireworks were on for about 35 minutes with themed music like frozen, tangled. Brilliant acts performing my little girl love it specially Reggie & Bollie would highly recommend

. Only down fall the carpark was terriable everyone was getting stuck in the mud!

User

We met friends there today .... young ones 4, 6, 12, old ones up to 80!

It's so beautiful, with so much to do for all ages. Splash pad was busy as expected on a hot Sunday but plenty of room for all. It's the best in the region.

User

We had an amazing day today! Fun in the Splash pad, a paddle in the stream looking at all the little fish, peddling swan boats on the lake feeding the ducks & geese all whilst listening to a fab country band singing at the chuckery festival in the bandstand!

User

The firework display was truly spectacular - half an hour of brilliant fireworks and an amazing grand finalé. Well worth the time out.

The only downside was that it was difficult to navigate the field with a wheelchair as it had become muddy. However, a good time was had by all.

User

Participated in the skate music festival event today was very impressed by the running of such a large park with incredibly well maintained facilities and parkland areas. Having a background in countryside recreation management i can appreciate the hard work and care taken by the walsall ranger service. Thank you.

User

I love this place :-) lovely, clean, well kept park and now they have alittle cafe it’s a perfect stop off during a run/walk BUT the public toilets are DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!’

User

Had a great time today following the troll trail. Lots of fun and grandson loved it.

User

Absolutely loved our day out today. The first time we have used the splash park and it was brilliant, clean and tidy, the attendant was on the ball and the water stayed on. The park is now so well maintained, lots of benches and grass areas for picnics, we love it there thanks walsall council

A magical haven I want to keep going back to

User

The general environment is very pleasant and clearly well maintained. The play areas have great variety and far better than other local parks. The water park in the summer months if great too. But the toilets could be far better to support this. The new visitor centre is a bit disappointing. The café service is very slow and visitors wanting to purchase duck feed are forced to wait in cafe queue as no other service point or staff avaliable. I recently wanted to do the Troll Trail but nobody was there to help and my son left very disappointed.

User

It is a nice park, but I don't like it, inside a rose garden don't allow to sit on the bench.... Why not? The aim of a park must be relax and refresh and recreation of a visitor, isn't it?!

User

Had a great day here yesterday with kids, the kids loved the pumpkin carving event and the troll trail, only let down was the apple bobbing was not on what was advertised but all in all a great day x

User

Good display and excellent entertainment. However VERY disappointed that they let people into a fireworks display with a dog. Poor little dog was terrified and frozen still sat on wet freezing earth for over an hour. Owner shouldn't be allowed to keep them, but felt wardens should not have allowed them access

User

Upset bought my daughter to play in splash zone and it is not open until Whitsun on one of the hottest bank holidays & they cannot be bothered to open it

User

We came today to the fun day and mostly it was fine. All the rides were at least £2 some £3.50 and most were not longer than a minute. Not great when you have a 4 year old that wants to go on every ride!

Also we had a go and hook a duck that was £3.50 and had a sign saying 2 go's so I thought that's not too bad. My son had his go and the woman took the duck and rod from us 8so I asked her" Is it not 2 go's?" To which she replied very rudely "no that's for the teddy you have to pay again obviously!" I took his prize and told her how rude she was and her attitude was terrible to which she replied "yea well so is yours!"

Obviously this is not the kind of behaviour you would expect from someone who you have just given money to and in front of a child.

For this reason I will not attend another fun day here and it wasn't very fun at the end and was really expensive for what was there.

Not great Walsall arboretum. I expected better.

User

The park is beautiful, the play area needs some attention, the splash area is nice but under utilised and the toilets in the play are are vile.

The splash area is not open enough or late enough. During the week it is turned off at 3pm meaning it is closed during the hottest part of the day when children come out of school which also means it is incredibly crowded weekends. There are no changing rooms only the toilets which I really wouldn't want to use let alone get changed in. The cubicles are way to small especially as it is an area where parents are more than likely going to need to help their child use them, not big enough for one person let alone two. The on site keosk no longer seems to open and the new cafe quite a walk away for small children seems to shut really early.

Disappointed, has the potential to be great! The park is lovely the play area not do. Install proper family friendly toilets and changing area and for God sake open the splash area later into the day!

User

My daughter and I visited the park today to leave early and disappointed. The water splash park was not on! The hottest May bank holiday and record and they didnt put it on, even though the hot weather hs been forecast for weeks. Next... my daughter wanted to feed the ducks, so we went to the cafe which is the only place you can buy the duck food. Waited in the long queue to be told they had sold out. No signs to say so, which would have saved a lot of queing nd people wanted food would have been served quicker, especially when half the queue disappeared onvr they overheard us being told it was sold out. My daughter lost interest in the park after that so we came home to get the paddling pool out. Total wasted visit!

User

Love the park but there are no clear statements of when splash pad is open or not. I tried to see if its open today but couldnt get an answer on website.all we can find is how good it is. So thats four of us that wont be going today.wint be having lunch an ice cream, drinks etc.this is losing a lovely park customers.you need to put it clear on all ads when splashpad is open and shut.
