Summer is on its way! Please could we remind parents that on sunny days, children will need their own sun hat (clearly named) and please dont forget to apply suncream before arriving at preschool each day☀️

Don't Forget World Book Day this Thursday! Children can come to pre-school dressed as their favourite character. Children can also bring along their favourite book from home. Please can we ask that all costumes and books are clearly named.

We are sharing this after the latest news regarding the safety of your children when playing/watching videos online. We will be continuing to educate the children about online safety at preschool using our ‘Smartie the penguin’ book. This can be found on our website, where there are also links to some useful information for parents and carers.

Wear your Christmas jumpers from Friday 14th December and throughout next week too! 🎄

Our ‘Children in Need’ activities are in full swing! We have Pudsey play dough, Pudsey threading, yellow spotty water plus much more ! The children look amazing in their spots and Pudsey/Blush outfits! A big thank you to all of those that have donated towards this very special cause! 🙏 We will be accepting further donations if you would like to do so.

Could we remind parents that children should only bring in an item from home as part of our 'Colour of the week'. Unfortunately toys do go missing at preschool. There are plenty of activities and resources for the children to play and explore. We do welcome snuggle/comforter items for the children that need these.

Don't forget to wear something spotty this Friday! We are asking for a small donation of £1.00 in support of Children in Need!

* Hold at least a level 3 relevant childcare qualification ... • Have previous experience as a key person working in a nursery environment. • Have sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Characteristics of Effective Learning. • Be flexible, creative and have the commitment to provide first class care and education.

We’re having lots of fun with pumpkins, spiders, slime and potions this week!

Ready Steady Cook! 👩‍🍳 👨‍🍳 Room one children have been cooking up a storm this morning!

We are making good use of the conkers found by children, parents and staff. We have learnt that fir cones float and conkers sink! We had a very windy day last week too and our little ‘specialist’ in windmills was very excited to take his creations outside to watch them turn!
