Wanderwoofs Walks is here to help all of you pet owners who are trying to juggle the constant demands of a busy work schedule along with family needs and on top of that trying to find time to exercise your dog.

Wanderwoofs Walks offers a friendly and reliable service which will be tailored around you and your pets’ needs, whether it be walking your dog or home care for cats and other small animals. I take all of my pet caring responsibilities very seriously and your pet will be treated as if it was my own. I am fully insured and police checked.

The areas covered are Aylsham, North Walsham, Holt and surrounding areas.

Dog Walking

Some form of daily activity and exercise is essential for your dog to keep their physical and emotional health at its best.

Lack of exercise can lead to obesity, poor muscle tone, heart problems, bone and joint disorders and can also result in emotional problems, such as destructive behaviour, boredom barking /howling and separation anxiety.

An exercised dog will sleep better, suffer less from anxiety when left alone and will be generally happier and easier to live with.

I offer a friendly, professional and reliable service that will be tailored to your dogs needs. I offer day time and evening walks Monday to Friday. Weekends are available on request and are subject to availability. Walks can be daily as part of your dogs’ routine or as and when you require them.

I appreciate the trust that you are placing on me to look after your pet has probably been a difficult and important decision for you to make so I offer a free initial consultation, where I will meet with you and your pet(s). We can discuss any special requirements /needs, your pets’ habits, any medical history, their exercise and food requirements, all of which will be written on our service agreement. I will also record your contact details (including emergency) information and veterinary details.

I will collect your dog and they will be taken to nearby 'green areas' or parks to be exercised. They will be exercised for the agreed amount of time and then, if necessary, cleaned up and returned back home tired and content. I can feed them if required and will always ensure that they have clean drinking water in their bowl before I leave.

I walk no more than four dogs at a time so that you pet gets the attention it deserves. Initially they will be walked on their own so that we can get used to each other before being introduced to other dogs. I can provide a 1-2-1 walk for your dog if preferred. Your dog will only be let off the lead with your prior permission, otherwise they can be on a standard lead or flexi lead if you prefer.

I must mention that I do not take uncastrated males over the age of 9 months, known aggressive dogs or bitches in season. All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations. I will ask to see a valid certificate on the initial consultation.

Doggie Day Care
For any number of reasons sometimes it might be necessary that you need your dog out of your house for the day without having to worry about them, or you just prefer your dog to be 'busy' rather than left alone all day.

If required your dog can spend the day with me. They will be out and about socialising with other dogs that I look after and they will also spend time with me at home where they can play, sleep and just generally have companionship and cuddles. They can be fed at agreed times as per your instructions and will be guaranteed at least two one hours walk per day.

I can collect your dog and then drop them off at the end of the day. I can't give specific times due to traffic, daily schedule etc but they will normally be collected 8. 30am - 10. 30am and dropped off back home 4. 30pm - 6. 30pm.

Sorry, but I cannot take uncastrated males over 9 months old, known aggressive dogs or bitches that are in season for doggie day care.

Pet Transportation

At times you might be unable to transport your pet when necessary or you just don't like having your pets in your car.

Wanderwoofs Walks can provide a transportation service where we will collect your pet and transport it where required at the times specified. We will then return your pet to you afterwards. Your pet will be secure in cages in the vehicle at all times. Situations could include a visit to the vets, cattery or kennels, or a trip to the grooming parlour.

Cat and Small Pet Care

Some cats get really distressed when they are put into catteries, so it is far nicer for them to be able to stay at home while you go away. I can visit your home once or twice day (as discussed at consultation) and your cats will be looked after and your home checked.

I can also visit daily to look after any small pets that you may have i. e rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, mice, fish, caged birds etc. Alternatively you might prefer to have your small pet stay at Wanderwoofs. (I cannot look after snakes).

I will carry out the following in a daily routine visit:

♦ Feeding of pet(s)
♦ Changing of drinking water
♦ Litter and cages cleaned, if required
♦ Cleaning up of any accidents
♦ Watering of plants, if required
♦ Open /close curtains
♦ Switching on /off of any lights
♦ Putting any post out of sight
♦ Putting out rubbish, if required

Any requirements will be discussed at our initial meeting to ensure that everything required is carried out. A routine visit will last for a maximum of 30 minutes. If longer visits are required please contact me for a quote and more information. The price includes up to three same species animals. If there is anything that differs from what we initially discussed, whether it be with your pet or your home, I will contact you immediately on the contact information that you leave with me.
