CORONOVIRUS It is with great sadness we will be closing for business from 3pm on Tuesday 24th March.
This decision was not taken lightly but with the best interests of our staff and customers at heart. In the very challenging environment we find ourselves in, we feel that this is the right decision.
... All interest accruing on buybacks will be frozen from the 24th of March until normal business resumes and you will be given ample opportunity to collect or renew your items when business returns to normal.

CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 A Big hello to all of our loyal customers With all that’s going on at the moment, all of the crew at WANTS would like to put your minds at rest about what we are doing in this crisis. As a nation we have all been struggling to come to terms with the realities of this virus. If or when we might become ill, possible loss of earnings and how to look after and feed our families and loved ones. The government on Friday has helped some but not all! We understan...d that those who are self-employed, on low hour contracts or are claiming benefits are still at this moment in limbo. Many of you have expressed your worries to us in the last few days and have asked us a lot of questions concerning items that you have in on buy back with us, things that you may have on deposit and whether we are going to be open or closed in the future. Hopefully this will answer your questions. If not, just give us a call! SELF ISOLATING? THANK YOU. We are so grateful that when you are feeling ill, that you have decided not to come and see us, even though we are missing you!!! We are especially missing our over 70’s customers. Without the chatter and company you bring to our shops, they are a far duller place be working in. Give us a call, we’d love to hear from you and we can always send you photos and details of new things in, and then pop them in the post. We are now taking buy back extensions over the phone via card payment so that you don’t have to come in to town if you don’t need to do so. ARE WE GOING TO CLOSE? NO is the simple answer. We have been here for 50 years and we have no intention of shutting our doors!! Unless we are told by the government to close, we will still be OPEN. If staff sickness means that we can’t open all of our stores all of the time, then we will do our best to open our stores for shorter hours and in rotation. We will clearly place opening hours and alternative stores that are open on any store door if we are forced to shut it and we will update you DAILY via our website and Facebook page. IF YOU HAVE TO CLOSE WHAT HAPPENS TO MY BUY BACKS? Don’t worry!! Your things are safe with us and if we are forced to temporarily close they will be safely stored and be there when we reopen. We will then give you a week from that date to come in or call us on the phone to arrange pick up or renewal. I PUT DOWN A DEPOSIT ON AN ITEM BUT I CANT AFFORD IT ANYMORE Again DON’T WORRY, we’ve got you! In most circumstances we will be happy to offer you a store credit and if things have changed in your life and you need some cash back, we understand and will happily give you a partial refund or a mixture of the two. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!! Talk to us!! We’ve been here for generations and will be here for many more!!!
