What a fabulous little place! I wish I lived closer... Jenna was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. I had a (few) lovely iced coffee(s) but must come back and try the food! 5* customer service!

Wapentake is a place I endeavour to visit whenever I'm in Leeds. That's not just because they have some of my map artwork on their walls, but because the place is cosy, friendly and delightful. They also embrace me when I come in crazy degrees of fancy dress, which is appreciated too.

Great stop for a Sunday brekkie/brunch! I ordered the vegan breakfast, so much food and very filling! There were also 2 vegan cake options which I got to take away. Again big portions. Staff were pleasant, prices were reasonable, food was good and service was quick.

Finally got to visit Wapentake for lunch after hearing many good things, and was hugely impressed. A good selection of food very reasonably priced, a good selection of craft beers, a great space, and very friendly and efficient service. Everything we tried from the lunch menu was excellent, and I now can't wait to come back and visit in the evening. Highly recommended.

Our favourite cafe/bar in Leeds. Lovely food, good beer/coffee, recommended.

Excellent food. Allocation of a bigger reserved table for four could have been a bit better but didn’t really detract from agood experience.

Abysmal gluten free bread. Could double as loft insulation. Appreciate the effort to be accommodating to dietary requirements, however do not appreciate being told it’s the gluten that makes “bread taste good”.
