We are new visitors to the shop. My son is really enjoying coming o the shop on a Sunday to play beginner games. The staff are genuinely interested in teaching the kids and making it as interesting as it can be. They also make the non player (Mum, in this case). very welcome.

Was in the store today with my housemate and his girlfriends little brother. I really don't normally go out of my way to leave feedback but in this case I felt I had to.



I've always had a slight inkling to start playing but found it intimidating to get into. We went in the Carlisle branch and Lewis(if I remember correctly, apologies if I'm wrong!) helped us out and was an absolute pleasure. He helped us pick out a couple of units(Chaos Marines) to get started, he also helped us and gave great advice on the paints we needed to get going. It would have been very easy for us to wolk out of the store at that point with a great shopping experience but no Lewis went the extra mile and let us play a game as he advised and helped us. I'm aware it is games workshops mantra to let people play but I feel lewis went the extra mile and the theatre he brought to the occasion added a great deal of excitement which has just netted three brand new warhammer players.



We have a games room at home full of Sideshow collectibles that range upwards of thousands of pounds per piece but now we've fully turned our attention to this new hobby and we're absolutely excited to get going - and we'll 100% be returning to Carlisle to see Lewis again for our next purchases.



I don't think I've ever had such a brilliant customer service experience like this(I was a retail manager for eight years and I'm a customer service executive currently!) so really well done Lewis and the guys - you're brilliant ambassadors of the game. Now we just need to decide whether to go for 40K or AoS! See you guys very soon!

Walked in this morning not realising they hadn't yet opened, but the gents working were still more than happy to listen to and answer my questions. It is without a doubt on of the best customer service experiences I've had.

Visited yesterday after getting back into 40k after over 6 years. Spoke to Adam who works there about starting an Astra Militarium army and found him to be very knowledgeable and helped me understand the new rules and changes since I last played.



Very friendly and easy to talk to! Thanks again!

This place has become a part of my weekly routine, I love spending time here both the staff and the other customers are always super friendly.

Staff are incredibly friendly and could not be more helpful

Really great store and staff, popped in when on honeymoon to pick some models up and staff managed to get my wife interested in the age of sigmar

Popped in to have a look after graduating today - Louis was amazing! I'm really looking forward to coming up to do some painting and maybe establish an army so I can play some games! Really really brilliant customer service, and I know I'll be back soon.

Only been in once so far but Louis was so helpful and introduced me to the painting and the gaming side of warhammer helping give me confidence to start my own army thanks to my friends ellie and Matt for getting me my first set to start.

My daughter just had her birthday party here today and Louis was fabulous as always. My girl is autistic and has a few struggles and Louis has never judged her and is always super friendly and helpful. Fantastic value for money too for a party! We just turned up with some juice and Louis sorted the cake and did everything else!

Louis is a absolute star. After years of being out of the hobby, the genuine warmth and community the store has brought me back in. Customer service is top notch, could not do more to help.

I had my sons 10th birthday at the games workshop today what pleasure I had watching the kids get deeply engrossed into the battle and Louis's commentary!! I can not believe the total dedication from him nothing was a problem and his patience with the kids was outstanding even though the shop was busy, the phone was ringing and people required his attention!!! In my opinion he deserves a medal for his passion towards his job. The overall experience was amazing and just what a bunch of 10 yr olds need we'll definitely be back after-all we have sets that need built and painted!!! Thank you very much!

Great store, awesome service — greatly appreciated the time taken to advice on how best to extend my son’s Imperial Guard army.

Great store always enjoy my time there and the staff are brilliant and very helpful to players new and old.
