In a Galaxy that is consumed by War, and resources are in short supply. Brother kills brother, alliances that have lasted for centuries have now broken down for the chance of getting a few more resources.
In this Maelstrom of War, doubles event. Each player is expected to bring 1000 points. As well each player is expected to bring everything you'll need to play the game, including Codex/index, rulebook, dice, and tape measure. You will be playing the Spoils of War mission, fo...und on page 233 of the Rulebook, you'll be partnered on the day and get a random deployment. There are 12 spaces so book fast!!!!!!
Special Rules:
First Rank, Second Rank Fire!: When a unit is being charge and is overwatching, they are allowed to completely unload their clip into the enemy (you can explain to your commanding officer about the total disregard of ammunition later). If you do so, you can now double the amount of shots you can fire (automatically hitting weapons are unaffected by this rule). For example, a Rapid Fire 1 weapon is now a Rapid Fire 2 weapon. If you do this, you are at a -1 to hit in combat, as you've been too busy firing your clip rather than pulling out your knife to fight
I've got you in my Sights: When a unit is being charged, they can now add 1 to their hit rolls when they are performing Overwatch.
The Roar of Blades: Onward brothers! For the Glory of Sanguinius!!! Death Death!!! *cough* *cough* let a bit of the inner Blood Angel out there..... Right back to it. Any unit that makes a successful charge now get to add 1 to their Attack characteristic, their hit and their wound rolls.
Unstoppable Charge: Any unit that is attempting to charge, is able to re roll failed charge rolls.

What a good weekends with good friends

User

The nicest staff who are super helpful and know all things Warhammer. Definately pop on in if you're in Liverpool, i loved the painting lesson especially. Very friendly people.

User

The new Manager Naomi spent quite a bit of time outlining the new things to come with the resurrection of Nagash for me, providing open copies of both new books and just generally chatting hobby. It was a level of inclusion I've not felt from GW Liverpool before she started and she seems to be doing an excellent job. Her patience and friendly manner has tempted me to become actively involved in the hobby again. GW Liverpool is on the rise and more than worth a visit.

User

The Liverpool store is lovely and the staff great. Dan the manager is not only knowledgeable but a handsome chap also.

User

Staff is kind and the place is like a candy store for people like me. Definitely check it out when you are in Liverpool.

User

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable

User

Popped into the store today to pick up a few bits to get myself back into the painting habit. The young lady who served me was knowledgeable and helped me with brush, wash and paint decisions, and also pointed me to the Chaos cultists after I looked for them for ten minutes. Great staff and store.

User

Only recently got into collecting the models and been into the shop a few times. Everyone ive spoke to in there has been really friendly and helpful. Felt a bit lost when i first started looking but they helped me out even though im a noob. Thanks guys and thanks for helping me get started

User

My son loved his time at the shop so much on the store anniversary that he came back today to join in again, learn how to play and fleece me for an army! Thank you to all the staff (especially George who looked after him and gave him insider secrets) for making his day.

User

I was recommended to go to this store by a friend even though it is not the closest too me. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with a warm friendly smile and a great welcome from all the staff. I am a long time window shopper of the hobby, and due to the experience I had at this store I felt no other option than to "dip my toe in the water". I was offered to join in with painting some miniatures (FREE OF CHARGE), I was given the opportunity to play an introductory game with characters from the new dark imperium set (which I did). I enjoyed my experience that much that I purchased the dark imperium box set! The staff here are like a customers dream! Not too pushy and give you the best of their knowledge so you can make an informed decision. I have to go well out of my way to get to this store, but it will be the store of my choice for all future purchases and enquiries. Finally, I would like to thank all the staff at this store (liverpool warhammer) I'm afraid I don't know your names but I will list you as such below

Awesome Beard Guy. (Seriously awesome)

The Manager (The guy I played against)

The Young Chap (Didn't get a chance to talk to you as you where tending to other customers)

Once again thank you and I will see you all very soon.

I hadn't spent much time in a games workshop store in the past 10 years or so but when I went into the Liverpool store last week because I've recently gotten back into the hobby it was like I'd never missed a day. As always the staff where incredibly friendly and helpful. I needed a lot of paint and felt like I was taking a lot of a young mans time but he was really knowledgeable and constantly assured me it was no trouble and he was happy to help. I'm really sorry I don't remember his name but it was a young lad in glasses. I couldn't speak highly enough of him as I was spending like £150 on paint and brushes alone and he really made me feel at ease with what I was buying so I knew I had everything I needed and didn't buy stuff that wouldn't be much use to me. I'll 100% be back as I need a few more bits anyway but even just to go in and say hello it's nice that you can feel like that's a perfectly acceptable thing to do. Love the shop, love the hobby. Can't wait to get my army finished and start playing again.

User

Great service and staff member George really took his time to explain, show and even play a game with us. My son was thrilled! I love it when the staff loves what they are doing and you notice it straight away! Next time we are in Liverpool we will surely come back.

User

Great place, amazingly friendly staff would recommend to anyone who is interested in getting into the game or who is already into it and is just looking for a friendly warm environment to play and have fun. :)

User

Great place with helpful staff who offer a great range of products and will help with anything they can, from painting tutorials to demo games!

User

Great friendly atmosphere, staff are always happy to help but don't try and force it down your throat. Really enjoy visiting this store.

User

Great atmosphere where players of AOS or 40k can meet up play games and have fun. Also good environment for new people to have a go

User

Dan, Mike and George are always friendly and helpful, especially towards my fairly niche questions and requests. Always happy to make suggestions on conversions and colour schemes, even going as far as to help with the fluff on custom armies. Lads, I salute you.
