Warminster School

About Warminster School

A co-educational boarding and day school for pupils aged 3-18 in the South West of England.

Warminster School Description

Every child has the capacity to enjoy and be good at something. We believe that it’s our job to help them find what that is and nurture it. Every child here is also encouraged to aspire academically and to enjoy their learning. We are proud that, at Warminster, our pupils not only fulfil their academic potential but are challenged to develop an intellectual curiosity and to have lively minds. Those are habits to last a lifetime.

"In the next couple of weeks we look forward to hosting our Imagine Exhibition. We hope that the local community will be able to join us in the Thomas Arnold Hall on Tuesday 25th June from 4.45pm-6.30pm for a drinks reception and celebration of our pupils creative talents. It promises to be a wonderful evening and on the night, local artist, Beatrice Haines will be giving a talk during the viewing, discussing the importance of Art in everyday life, and in education." Louisa Clayton, Head of Art
Please RSVP to Jill jcheetham@warminsterschool.org.uk if you would like to attend.

In December 2018, the dice rolled and our Headmaster's fate for his final Speech Day at Warminster was sealed.
In front of a packed Speech Day audience, Mr and Mrs Mortimer nervously delivered on their challenge. We are just a little bit proud of them both! If you couldn't make it or would like to relive the supportive and community atmosphere, Game of Zones is available to watch now.

He has also written histories of the SBS, Long Range Desert Group and the London Blitz.
Gavin is a regular contributor to newspapers, magazine and websites, and is the Spectator's correspondent in France, where there is never a dull moment since Emmanuel Macron came to power.

We agree with Michael J. Fox “Family is not an important thing. It's everything.”
Putting together our festive flick this year really was a family affair. Staff, pupils and Old Verlucians working as film crew, parents and staff gently persuaded to star on screen and every department of the School involved and supporting in some way. It was a wonderful Warminster team effort!
With the help of our generous Warminster community and Yellow Balloon Films, we proudly present 'Christmas Socks II: The Long Wait' https://vimeo.com/305067187

Stuart Morgan-Nash was larger than life and loved by everyone, not least the thousands of children he taught over the years. Many of his former colleagues at Warminster School wanted to do something collectively to remember Stuart in a way that would benefit a cancer research charity or hospice and the Bath Rugby Walk ticked all the boxes. https://www.warminsterschool.org.uk/news‚ Ķ/‚Ķ/mashys-marchers/
