About Warwick Medical School

Home to the UK's largest graduate-entry MB ChB programme, we also offer a wide range of research degrees, master's and CPD courses and undergraduate science degrees.

Warwick Medical School Description

Our MB ChB has been designed to meet the changing needs of a doctor in the 21st Century. We have staff known nationally and internationally for their excellent teaching reputations who are at the forefront of their subjects. Teaching takes place in the settings of our modern facilities at the University of Warwick and at a selection of regional hospitals. These include state-of-the art new facilities for teaching anatomy and clinical skills based at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW) in a fabulous Surgical Skills Training Centre.
Much of our MB ChB teaching is ‘research rich’, delivered by experts in their fields. Our research is focused on delivering benefits for patients and the public with those common problems that are part of the everyday work for practising doctors.

Our comprehensive and innovative portfolio of postgraduate programmes offers flexible, high quality courses. We also provide a broad range of short courses linked to practice and role development for health professionals. Whether you are interested in a one-day course on a particular topic or would like a flexible programme of professional development leading to a master's or PhD degree, we look forward to welcoming you into our School.

An important element in our educational philosophy is a commitment to lifelong learning. Our postgraduate and continuing professional development (CPD) courses have been designed to help you develop existing skills and knowledge as well as to develop skills in a new field to enhance your career.

At Warwick Medical School, we share The University of Warwick's dynamic research ethos. We regularly make the news with our ambitious research programme that directly relates to patient care.
