This is Warwick's very own outdoor mini-festival, headlined by BUSTED and SUB FOCUS along with a top line-up of live bands, DJs, local talent and student acts. There's also a free funfair on the main site and an After-Party running in The Copper Rooms until 3am!

*** CHANGES TO TENANCY FEES - INFO FOR STUDENTS ***
We are pleased to note that the new Tenant Fees Act 2019 comes into effect on 1st June, limiting the fees that landlords or letting agents can charge with regards to a property.
Please note that if your housing contract is signed before 1st June 2019, fees can still apply - if possible, we therefore recommend that students should try to put off signing a contract until 1st June (or later) to avoid these!

Warwick University's Social Inclusion strategy aspires to remove economic, social and cultural barriers that have prevented talented people from studying and working at Warwick, and for the Uni to be recognised as best in class for its approach to diversity and social inclusion for students and staff.
They want to work with students to help shape the strategy, and are holding some informal consultation groups next week to discuss themes, their vision and your experiences at Warwick and beyond!

There is an acknowledgement that the University often make it difficult for students to understand, navigate, and access their various service provisions. In response, they have have launched the Accessing Opportunities and Services (AOS) Programme in order to develop institution-wide recommendations to resolve a series of problems!

As many of you will remember, coming to University for the first time can be a nerve-wracking experience. This is why the University and Students’ Union recruits a large team of Arrivals and Welcome Helpers each year to help all new students settle in and make friends!
These are paid positions, and we are also recruiting Welcome Team Leaders and Arrivals Supervisors to help manage the teams.

With working class people of colour in the global south already suffering the effects of the climate crisis, time is running out to halt this catastrophe. Join thousands of students around the world in striking for climate justice this Friday, May 24th! 🌍
Students will be gathering at 12pm for a rally on the Piazza to demand the government implement a Green New Deal to cut Green House Gas Emissions to zero by 2030 and meets the People's Demands for Climate Justice to support... a just climate transition in the Global South. This will be followed by a march to demand our own university management commits to carbon neutrality by 2030.
