Dragon Parade and Fireworks: Albert Square and Chinatown this Sunday 22nd February 2015
Albert Square will come alive on Sunday afternoon as the annual Dragon Parade kicks off here, before heading to parade through the streets of Chinatown.
As the parade reaches ChinatownŌĆÖs NCP car park at 1pm it will be greeted by fire crackers followed by New Year addresses from The Chinese Consul General of Manchester, the Lord Mayor of Manchester, and community leaders.
... In Chinatown you will find traditional lion dancers, martial arts displays, spectacular Chinese acrobatics, arts and crafts, workshops and a funfair with over 20 rides on Charlotte Street - culminating in the spectacular fireworks finale at 6pm.
Festivities start at 11am, with the parade starting in Albert Square at 12:30pm.

Welcoming staff and delicious, beautifully made sushi for a reasonable price. It was my first time in a sushi restaurant, and I'd definitely go there again. There's a lovely authenticity about it, and I was surprised with it being right in the heart of Manchester. I would recommend it to all!

We've been coming here for years and it's perfect every time. We don't go to Manchester that often but we always try to squeeze in a visit to Wasabi when we do. Love it. Thanks Wasabi!

Stunning food as always. The Ramen noodles are proper comfort food in a bowl. We always order off the hot food menu which has so much choice. The sushi passing by looks delicious though but the hot food menu is always a winner for us.

Regular costumer since 4 years ago that I've been in Manchester, and the only Wasabi I go it's go this one in Chinatown.



Love the staff, they're lovely friendly and amazing quick service even if you have only 40 minutes break or in a rush but wanna eat you will get it in here!!

My children and I love this place. Always services with a smile and friendly staff! The food is fresh, delicious, good quality and very good value for money!

We brought my daughter and her friends to celebrate her birthday and everyone really enjoyed it. We left full and happy!

My 12 year old sons favourite place to eat. Staff friendly. We usually have one of the set menus for ┬Ż10.95

Loved the winter menu. Always great service. Have to say the Grilled chicken salad was great, especially as I'm dieting. Great value for money.

I love this sushi I won't go no where else you get loads for the rite price the taste is out of this work sushi all the way for me

I have been going into this particular restaurant for about 3 years now. I'm a regular every week. The guy that runs it is an absolute diamond and always very pleasant! He says hello to me every time I go in. All the staff cannot do enough for you ! Always smiling .. I have a drink put on my table without even asking. Very good indeed !!! My best restaurant in Manchester

For the better part of a year now, at least once a month, me and my little brother travel all the way from Whitefield to come to Wasabi in the Printworks - and we've never had a bad experience.

The staff are lovely, the food is fresh and delicious, and it's so affordable. I've recommended them countless times to my friends, and I'll be bringing my mum here soon too! I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about the place :) thank you for a wonderful experience every time!

Every time I've been to Manchester in the last 10 years I always visit this place (Chinatown restaurant) the food is always excellent and the staff are so friendly. The desert room upstairs is also great.

Brilliant as usual. If you have never tried Sushi before this is the place that sets the standard. The room upstairs is always a perfect end to your meal.

Amazingly quick service and the sushi is sooo good. Usually get set menu and for the money you get a great choice and the staff are always so friendly. Would highly recommend.

All ways love this place. Never had bad food or service which keeps me going back for more. I have only been the one in China town xxx

There is a big different when you see the picture on website and what you will get, pieces on the picture are very big, in my black tray a lot of empty spaces. I order sushi for take away. Also No 25 Chicken burger there was only a tiny piece of meat. I will never order sushi and nothing from that place. In otherwise sushi and burger in the Printworks was big (no empty spaces in tray) and the meat in burger was quite big. Taste and everything was perfect. I recommend ordering sushi only in Printworks.
