Happy New Year Ladies! Sorry for the long gap in posts but it was a pretty hectic end to last year. Unfortunately all WaterBumps classes have now stopped but that doesn't mean that you can't still use this group! This is what it was designed for and as long as we can keep it running, I want you all to use it to your advantage and help each other out. I still have the group on my page so still get notifications so if you ever have a question you are unsure of, please post and ...I will do my best to get you the answer.
Missing our lovely classes but we are still here :)
Also any updates on babies i would love to hear from you all :)

It is with great sadness that we need to let you know that our company has taken a commercial decision to shelve WaterBumps for the foreseeable future. This means that unfortunately, we will be closing all of our of classes across the UK.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused, it is with great regret that we are unable to be there to support you on your pregnancy journey, and we wish you the best for the rest of your pregnancy.

You don’t need to be a swimmer to take part in our classes. We know that people’s confidence in the water varies enormously. As long as you can stand up in the water you can enjoy our classes and exercise, both before and after baby, at a pace and level that’s adapted to you.

Waterbumps is amazing!! Hands down the best thing I could have done throughout my pregnancy! I started waterbumps at 19weeks - It allowed me to meet other new and expecting mum's, helped me get more sleep, keep up a small/healthy & safe amount of exercise each week & the all the techniques we learnt helped me get through my labour! All of the teachers are kind, understanding & ensure you feel comfortable in every class! I could not Reccommend Waterbumps enough if I tried!

User

WaterBumps was an absolute godsend throughout my pregnancy.

I started out around 16 weeks and continued through duration of my pregnancy. The staff are supportive and able to advise on a wide range of pregnancy related issues such as ways to support my hips and back appropriately at different stages not just in the pool. Also the relaxation thought me to listen to my body and zone out which provided much needed relief during labour.

I cannot thank the team enough!

User

WaterBumps has been amazing. Having struggled with extreme PGP/SPD pain since around week 14 of my pregnancy I have gone from an extremely active, healthy lifestyle to hardly moving at all. WaterBumps is my release and it has been great to be able to do some gentle exercises, being supported by the water. Nadine has also shown great care and support, willingly adapting the exercises to assist me further. I can’t recommend these classes highly enough.

User

Used to look forward to relaxing on a Tuesday evening in the water at a Waterbumps class. The exercises help with aches and pains and water takes away the pregnant weight for awhile. Was lovely to chat to others going through pregnancy too.

User

These classes were a godsend to ease my pelvic pain and were a great way to meet other mums to be. I learned new techniques ready for labour including relaxation and breathing.

I counted down the days to my class to be back in the water!

Thank you all

User

These classes have been so helpful since I started at 17 weeks, it's fab to spend time with other pregnant ladies and hear their progress as well as get some time out with your bump to stretch and breath. Danielle is a super knowledgeable teacher that makes you feel comfortable in all the classes. I've learnt so much about pregnancy and what's to come for the next 16 weeks already, I know I will use lots of the techniques throughout. Definitely would recommend to all new mums to be, thank you for 45 minutes of me time each week

User

Thank you so much Penny and Ali. I have absolutely loved Waterbumps. It has been blissfully relaxing and gave me time to focus on me and my bump. You are both so knowledgeable and were able to advise me on stabilising my PGP, dealing with night time cramps and turning the baby from back to back. You differentiated exercises to support my needs and it was all very effective. My little girl is now 5 weeks old. I actually impressed myself with coping with the labour on gas and air, using breathing and relaxation techniques, feet positions and remaining as active as possible with hulas etc. I would thoroughly recommend everyone to attend Waterbumps. I'm really missing it! Many thanks again!

User

I've completed both the pre natal and post natal water bumps courses and I've loved every session!

The Bumps team are brilliant, patient, supportive and have great knowledge.

The pre natal classes are a combination of relaxation, breathing and gentle stretching to make room for your expanding baby bump.

Post natal, puts you back together. It starts off very gently and gradually increases in intensity. You get a brilliant workout focussing on your pelvic floor and core muscles. Having completed the course I feel happy to start exercising again confident that I'm not going to do myself any damage.

I can't recommend the classes enough!

User

I would recommend WaterBumps to everyone. I’ve done it throughout both of my pregnancies and really enjoyed my little bit of ‘me’ time each week. I’ve had problems with my back, hips and a large diastasis recti and the instructors have been able to give me advice on exercises to help both in and out of the water. The group each week has also been a bit of a counselling session when pregnancy has been tough & I’ve been lucky enough to make good friends with the people I’ve met there. I also did a beautiful underwater bump photo shoot which has given me pictures I will treasure, especially given as it was my last pregnancy.

User

I started classes at 12 weeks and now at 36 weeks I know without them I would have struggled during my pregnancy!

I have loved meeting other mum's for a good chat and knowing I will come away feeling stretched, refreshed, relaxed and in for a great nights sleep!

A fabulous way to do exercise or just get moving during pregnancy, weightless (hated the end of class and getting out of the pool!), always supported and the instructors are just fantastic, full of great advice, tips and tricks! Thank you Dani!

I can safely say I will really miss the classes when little one comes along! A million stars if I could give them!

User

I started Waterbumps when I was 18 weeks pregnant and absolutely loved it each week. Nadine was incredible. The classes are a real mix of relaxing and exercising. I have to say, the breathing we did each week got me through labour. I have also met 3 brilliant friends from the class and we’re still in touch. Thank you team Waterbumps x

User

I started WaterBumps classes at 33 weeks, however, I wish I had started a lot sooner! Each class is carefully thought out based on how each member of the group is feeling that day, and no class ever feels rushed, or too full! The exercises and breathing techniques really help ease the stress of the mind & body, and at the end of each class you spend a few minutes on "relaxation" where you just float in the pool with bump. That's the best part! I always sleep very well after a bumps class, which is a nice change..especially in the third trimester. My husband and I also attended a Birthing Partner Class which was very beneficial for us both. It's nice knowing that he has experienced a little bit of why i love the classes so much, along with the fact he now knows all kinds of exercises and the breathing to help support when I'm in labour! It's a lovely thing to do, especially if you haven't had the best pregnancy like us! I will continue with bumps until baby is born, and will certainly be back after! Thank you to Ali & Danielle who now make me look forward to Tuesday and Thursday bed times! I cannot recommend WaterBumps enough.

User

I joined waterbumps around 21weeks and still going now at 37... The class is great to help with any aches and strains but also to do some exercise and stretch like you can't on land. Would recommend to everyone, Nadine and danielle are great and the other women are so friendly. It's a nice social, relaxing atmosphere. 5/5

User

I joined WaterBumps at 17 weeks into my 2nd pregnancy due to severe SPD and it has been the best pregnancy purchase out of both of them! Not only are the exercises (including breathing and pelvic floor!) tailored to the individual needs of each group, but as a working pregnant woman with a toddler at home, this is the only time in the week where I can actually focus on the fact that I AM pregnant, and enjoy it!

It's wonderful to meet other women in different stages of their pregnancies and see them all develop, and the classes help make this 9 months go by faster so I can meet my baby sooner!

I've been given so much advice during the classes, both about how to cope with SPD and about pregnancy in general (including valuable tips from other mums!) that I genuinely don't know how I'd cope now without WaterBumps!

In a quiet, intimate heated pool with small class sizes, the relaxation part of every class feels like taking a really luxurious bath, which is exactly what every pregnant woman needs once a week!

I really cannot recommend aquanatal classes enough for any and every pregnant woman!

User

I cannot recommend this class highly enough! I started this class in the later part of my pregnancy and can only wish I had found it earlier. It's so enjoyable and relaxing.... A little bit of tranquil time to yourself! Penny is so lovely and makes everyone feel important. The pool (wraxhall) is amazing. It's a perfect temperature and feels so comfortable to be in. I leave this class every week feeling so refreshed and relaxed. Thank you so much to the water bumps team for providing such a great service.

User

I absolutely loved my prenatal classes! Great to take the weight off in the water after a long day at work, have time to relax and yet still feel like I’d done some gentle exercise.

Ali was fantastic and made sure she found exercises to suit everybody individually if needed, depending on people’s aches, pains and symptoms from week to week.

It is also lovely catching up with fellow mummy’s each week, sharing our experiences and getting lots of good advice and recommendations from one another. Even now that my little girl has arrived, I still keep in touch with my Waterbumps group and it is great to have made new friends!

Ali and Danielle were also very excited to see us at the Well-being Workshop after my little ones arrival (which was SO useful, I would highly recommend it), such an amazing and super friendly team!

User

Having tried the class using the free taster session, I am now a Water Bumps regular. I would recommend the class to all other pregnant lady's out there - with and without aches and pains.

The classes are modified to your stage of pregnancy and Penny always asks if we want to concentrate on anything in particular. Penny is a great instructor, always providing us with useful advice and contacts if we need them. Afterwards, I feel energised and ready to tackle another week of pregnancy. What can possibly be better than that!?

User

Amazing!! The instructors are brilliant and lovely, Not only are they the instructors but u build a brilliant friendship. Grate to meat other mums to be. My first session I went to my nerves nearly got the better of me but then Danielle soon got rid of them just by being herself. I never done it when preganat with my 1st but wish I did, highly recommend to every preganat woman! Thank you water bumps xx

User

Absolutely loved my classes when I was pregnant. Was a way to treat myself during a stressful week and find calm. Assisted classes with Danielle and Ali and both were great teachers making the classes fun and at the same time helpful for our own needs. Used several of the movements when in labour. Def I recommend them. Can’t wait to assist some of their other classes !!
