Lovely spot, on the edge of Windermere. Nice lunch and friendly staff.
Just eaten at this location at 4pm nice pub good selection of ale. Limited menu so ordered fish and chips, from ordering it took less than 5 minutes to arrive. Bland tasting ale battered fish. Don't bother go to the Wainright in the Langdales better food and even cheaper ale and better menu. Sorry but won't visit again
Very good lakeside pub restaurant. Food was very nice, looking forward to going back to try more of the menu. Dogs allowed in some parts of the bar where you can also order food. Loads of outside seating with great views of the lake. Car park.
Huge portion of nacho s! Could be a little more flexible with the dishes...e.g. I asked for some spinich with my nachos and I was told this was not possible
Inn with modern interior and good range of drinks. Busy but enough room for everyone. Large beer garden stretches down to the lake. Good quality ales.
Great location. Very popular clearly. Quite a wait in the queue to order but once we did food came quickly and was delicious.
We stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of March. The room was fab and it had a lake view! The breakfast was well worth it, there was quite a lot of choice too. We also ate our evening meals there. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The refurbishment is amazing and still in keeping with the original look. Overall we had a lovely stay here and have booked to go back again in April! Can't fault it.
Stayed for one night just before Christmas, the room was a little small but the price was right. Enjoyed it so much booked the Windermere Room for the New Year, was a little bit more expensive but worth it, had a fantastic time. Rooms are very nice, staff very polite and helpful. Food is brilliant. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Wateredge Inn.
Absolutely stunning refurbishment of this old favourite. We had my birthday meal here on Saturday - there were 6 adults and 3 kids and the food was magnificent, ale was fabulous and service was fantastic. Huge thumbs up to your lovely staff for looking after us all so well. The kids loved their meals and the colouring in too. Would highly recommend to all. What a delightful place. Beautiful log fire keeping us toasty and then a wander to the edge of the beer garden to gaze at the lake. Thank you. So very much.
