We had a lovely spacious room overlooking the lake. All staff were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend the Wateredge Inn.

The most beautiful beer garden we've ever been to! Well looked after and large seating area right in front of the lake. Stunning!
Stunning views.....very helpful staff....sincere thanks to kind young man who carried drinks out for me.....even though we were sitting in area not marked for service .... very reasonable prices compared to Lakeside Hotel and much better service..... thank you everyone for making our trip to lakes end on much happier note x

Stayed in many hotels in this area, what a great find, so clean, lovely staff, amazing breakfast and nice atmosphere in bars, be so nice in summer to sit out by lake, highly recommended

Good pub grub, great for kids, good value for money, not gourmet dining but perfect for a good bite to eat with a varied menu. Loved the real fire and large outdoor seating are next to the lake. Staff very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend it.

Beautiful location. Rooms really nice and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Quite a busy place and long que at the bar but residents get priority at the bar. We will be visiting again.
We had a nice meal yesterday and did think it was quite expensive until we looked at other places nearby and soon realised it's pretty much the going rate for the area,. Staff were pleasant and helpful even though they are short staffed.
Will visit again whilst here visiting.

The worst burger ever! All the trimmings were good, but the burger was preformed and solid, reminded me of the ones out of a tin back in the 60’s.
You would think that a “gastropub “ would make their own burgers, it’s not exactly rocket science
Seriously over priced, no Atmosphere..go 100 yards down the road to the YHA. Same view better beer and amazing staff
I have visited the waters edge on numerous occasions and everything has been fine. Unfortunately tonight’s visit was disappointing. While the food was fine it was overpriced for a ‘pub’ despite its location. The bar service was appalling. After being stood there for around 15 minuets with cash in my hand I was totally ignored, it took two members of staff to serve one customer and it then became obvious that residents that weren’t even in the queue were prioritised. It should be noted that it was not particularly busy and yet the bar queue was out of the door due to the ineptitude of the bar staff.
The comments I heard from the people behinds me were well justified, this venue needs a rethink.
