About Waterloo Bar And Kitchen
Next door to the Old Vic Theatre, Bar & Kitchen is perfect for pre and post theatre dining. We have a variety of Daily Specials, Weekend Brunch and a Private Dining Room for parties of up to 30 for lunch and dinner.
Waterloo Bar And Kitchen Description
Waterloo Bar and Kitchen is located a mere two minutes walk from Waterloo station. Situated next to the Old Vic theatre, it is perfect for a relaxed lunch, and invariably buzzing early evening prior to the theatre performances. The atmosphere is fantastic due to the combination of friendly and attentive service and a great general ambience to the restaurant.
The menu, which is best described as 'modern British cuisine', changes every month and there are a variety of specials which are a little more daring. Brunch is served at the weekend, and hearty roasts are available on Sundays.
As well as seating up to 70 guests at any one time, complete with spacious booths and tucked away tables, Waterloo Bar and Kitchen also boasts a private dining room. The lower level room can seat up to 30 people, or alternatively can host up to 50 people for drinks or canapés. It is the perfect venue for business meetings, Birthday celebrations and Christmas parties.
Waterloo Bar and Kitchen can also host delicious sit down meals for stag dos and hen parties in our private dining room.

If you are stuck for somewhere to go in Waterloo, look no further. Located next door to the Old Vic theatre. Superb staff, food and ambience. Try the crab to start, followed by the Thai sea bream and coconut rice and their irresistible sticky toffee pudding. I'll definitely be back!
Had a great family meal here in Sunday, very special occasion and we stayed for ages, very good service.
Food is delicious and service excellent... looking forward to my next visit in Feb 2018!

As previously said a gem in such a good location for Waterloo. I arrived early and wanted to watch the England game so I was taken to another room with TV and complimentary prosecco. Francis the manager couldn’t do enough for us. We enjoyed the Roast beef Sunday dinner. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending this restaurant

Being a bit of a eagle eye - the gent behind the bar never stopped, cleaning, helping and generally being efficient!
Very enjoyable food good. staff good. 18 of us all satisfied.
Staying at Travelodge nearby and working at Wellington House next door so called in on off chance . Lovely ! Staff so friendly and helpful - really nice ambience and even a celeb spot ( political geeks only - Nick Clegg )
Great service and lovely food. Starters were particularly good. The main courses were good but the belly pork was disappointing. However, at £25 for 2 courses for 2 it would be ridiculous to complain. I've been here many times and would totally recommend it.
