We meet every other month to learn about issues related to our industry and increase our knowledge, at Horndean Technical College. Therapists often work in isolation, this is an opportunity to meet like minded people, to network, learn new skills and bat ideas off each other.
FHT Members and non-members are welcome to come along, as are student therapists and family and friends and other people interested in the health industry. Talks can vary on topics and feature industry speakers. See the postings below for more information.

Waterlooville LSG next meeting will be July 17th 7pm For drinks and picks for 7.30 start with Kelly Youren who will give us an interesting talk on Naturopathic Nutrition she will explain the use of whole and Organic foods as medicine, getting us in shape ready fo summer !!!! All welcome to come and join us.
Great evening with Kathy Justice all having ago at the Ayurvedic and Marma point massage
Our next meeting will be on May 8th with Kathy Justice holding a workshop evening on Ayurvedic energy point massage, with Marma points that energise and stimulate the immune and nervous system. We can start arriving at 6.30pm if you are able to drag along your massage couch to set up. Looking forward to another interesting evening where we can all have a go and learn the room
Our next meeting is on Wednesday 20th March. Doors open at 7pm for a drink and networking with the talk at 7.30pm on Rejuvenating Facial Massage with Marian Timms. Marian will talk us through the many points on the face which relate to points on the body, and how to use rejuvenation techniques. Suitable for everyone looking to rejuvenate themselves!
Another wonderful evening last week with Tracy Gibbons telling us all about Bach flower remedies. Made me want to start using them all over again! Apologies to anyone who turned up and was not able to park - the school had omitted to inform us about a Parent's evening. Anyway, it all got sorted in the end and we had a great evening.

We had another wonderful evening with Jing Advanced Massage Training in September. After a demonstration, it was hands on and great fun for everyone, as well as lots of learning. Thank you Jing, your fusion techniques are truly inspirational.
Fabulous evening of Tai Chi last week! Thank you Joyce D'Silva for a most rewarding evening. It made us all realise just how strong Tai Chi can be. Our next meeting is on September Wednesday 19th and will be another session with the amazing Jing people. More details to follow. The meeting in November is now confirmed as Iridology, with Sarah Furey, more details to follow.
Tomorrow evening we have an a chance to experience Tai Chi first hand with Joyce D'Silva. Come along and experience some of the many benefits so that you'll be able to point your clients in this direction if appropriate for them. Should be a fun evening! See you there Liz and Hazel
