Really good site, not easy to access with touring caravan. Many water sports available with a small but nice swimming pool setup.
Weather changes very quickly. We will visit again mid-year.

Had a fab holiday. The park was brilliant and the staff were all lovely. The park is really dog friendly with a fully enclosed dog walking field which is very handy. The only problem was the temperature of the showers as they weren't very warm however the toilets were always kept clean and we're very modern.

Great family site, especially suited to those wanting water activities. Ideal for kayaking and sup. Friendly helpful staff with great facilities. I have been two years running and will definitely book again.

large pitches and very clean toilet block, great location for enjoying watersports with easy access to stunning coastline, but.....
I know a lot of people are saying the owners and staff are very nice but is it just me or is it kind of a very cold fake niceness? you know the kind thats only their on the surface while you are towing the line and paying the cash? heres two examples
my wife went to their quite overpriced shop and purchased 2 fishing weights for me which she thought were the right ones, they werent so i popped in on my way to the beach with my boat and rod to exchange for the right ones, found the right ones but realizing there was a difference of 10p asked if i could pop it in later to which i was told no we cant do that,, what???, after pulling myself back off the floor i though as i dont have any money on me and it was a trudge to go back to my pitch i said ok i'll give one of the weights back and just have a refund for it, again i was told sorry we cant do that we dont give refunds...what???? cutting it short after talking with management i was finally allowed to come back later
with the 10p..thanks for that. second example, it was last day and we were planning on spending the last day at woolacombe beech so asked if instead of moving our caravan off the site we could leave it on the pitch and pay extra if required and if theres nobody taking the pitch after us, we were told theres nobody taking the pitch after us but they would not allow us to leave our caravan for a few hours unless we paid for a full extra night which was £44.. so to recap they were quite happy to leave the pitch empty than to help out one of their customers and even make a tenner for the trouble well lets just say we left before time was up.. nice friendly site that highly recommended cant do enough for you!!!

Great facilities and location, only downside is if you are camping it's very cramped when busy and some pitches are small.

Stunning scenery and nice big pitches to camp for a few days. New ablution block with ample toilets and nice hot showers. Enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Great for kayak and body board hire. Lovely location, short walk to a sandy cove though there are lots of steps down. Food in the cafe was quite good. New clean toilet facilities and good showers.

The night we arrived we were denied entry (despite having booked and paid over the phone) and made to sleep in our car with our dog. As were a number of other families, some of whom had small children. One gentleman had to sleep in a makeshift bivouac on a roll-mat on the floor of the car park because he had two small children and his wife sleeping in the car.

Whilst the young man on the reception desk was sympathetic, the manager we spoke to (on the phone, couldn't be bothered or was to cowardly to come and and speak to us face to face) just gave us a verbal shrug of the shoulders.

We were told we could pitch up first thing in the morning, however my idea of "first thing" is clearly way out of line with Watermouth Cove's, I spent several hours hanging around the "24 hour" reception waiting for staff to open up.

Other than this most of the staff were surly and rude. At one point we asked for beans on toast to be told "If we did beans-on-toast it would be on the menu, wouldn't it?" even though both beans and toast were available on the menu as separate items. Charming. WORST BACON IN THE WORLD, avoid at all costs.

The location was nice, but I'd recommend any other campsite in the vicinity, they are all much friendlier.

In summary, an absolute useless pile of crap. Worst customer service I've ever encountered in my life, not to mention a rip off. Will be pursuing a refund.
