Excellent food and friendly staff.
Will definitely be coming down on a works outing in near future.
Came here with my nanny tonight - food was lovely, the guy who served us provided great service and as locals (ish!) we will definitely return! Thank you xx
Talk about a catch 22, people find out about your relaunch efforts and new menus thanks to the bad press from parking fines, but feel bitter about receiving a parking fine so won't bother trying out new menus. Interesting marketing launch case study here.
Worst pub in Leamington. Food is literally awful, no atmosphere, and charge you if you park there £100.....Fingers crossed it gets closed down and turned into flats.
Went to this establishment for refreshment and the use of their facilities, they were closed so I dashed to McDonalds next door and received a £100 parking fine for the 5 minutes I was gone and told In the letter I was guilty of obstructive parking...when they were shut thus not blocking actual customers because I repeat they were shut. Had they been open and I parked there and went to McDonalds, then I feel that would've been obstructive. I think by dealing with UKPS who are bloodsuckers they will be ruining their business and going by other reviews you get a fine even if they are open and you go in to drink or eat, what a way to treat customers! Will be making sure to tell all my friends not to go here just in case they too get a fine!
We went for a lunch and received £100 parking fine for not being a customer! As a genuine customer this is beyond disgusting. Will not be visiting again!
Was issued a £60 parking fine. I used to use this establishment quite often but would never set foot in there again. Disgraceful how you treat your customers! Yes, I understand you are trying to grow your business, and I did read the article on the internet about the Macdonalds issue... but you are driving your customers away. Awful, just awful. Would not recommend or ever set foot in there again!
Popped in for a pint a couple of weeks ago to check out the menu and now dealing with a parking ticket from UKPS. Checking on TripAdvisor, I am not the only one. Havent got a receipt for a pint so lets see how the appeals process goes.
My partner had just received a parking charge notice from debt company saying she owes £160 from parking there in March. It is the first letter she has received about this charge so therefore had no way of paying in the first place, also she is pretty sure the pub wasn't even open when this was done so she wasn't obstructing anything or stopping people from visiting the business. Shocking, one way to put off your customers this is, I want this resolving because £160 straight to a debt collector without any chance to even discuss or appeal
Joke of a place, I work down the road so I pop in every now and then for a drink and food and ended up getting 2 parking tickets for £160 pound. The Moorings is cheaper when you take the tickets into account and a much nicer place.
I would give them a 0/5 if I could. The meal we were given was the poorest excuse of food I have ever seen. I ordered the Berry pavlova for pudding and received two meringue nests that were probably bought from Tesco, then some spray can whipped cream and some sauce ontop. I was embarrassed to receive this as a paying customer, I will not be returning back anytime soon. Following this I also received a parking ticket, it seems the parking tickets were implemented to cover the losses they will have in the future due to the drop in food and service quality.
