had five days here it was brill the staff are very helpful the pool and spa was excelant in there every dat breakfast was to die for the rooms was so comfy and very clean will be coming to stay again

What a fantastic place staff will do anything for you... they are so happy all the time... my son called one of them 6 star james я┐╜ ..room service is great... stayed for two nights. My boy was in hospital near by but what an amazing hotel.. would recommend to anyone.. beds are so comfy and rooms are clean. Great location too.

Was disappointed when I arrived, but staff attitudes the facilities made up for it!

The spa , pool and gym are amazing and kept clean, great changing rooms. The staff are all lovely and helpful. The hotel rooms are clean and fresh with lovely soft towels. The breakfast is delicious with lots of choice and cooked to perfection. I would stop here again.

The facilities are great, and the pool is lovely. But more importantly, this doesn't feel like other gyms. Other gyms I've walked out the door before they can sign me up because it feels like they might deign to let me hand over my money and put up with my unwanted presence. The Waterside feels like a community. People smile and say hello, I'm often asked what length of the pool I'm up to, and it doesn't feel like an exclusive club that only the high and mighty are able to join. And the staff are both friendly and helpful. This is a place where exercise really is for everyone.

Stayed here on Saturday for a friends party at the hotel. Had a really pleasant experience because you have amazing staff! First up Red! He welcomed us and sorted our check in. Happy, efficient, funny and totally in tune with our needs. Big thanks to Red. Next up comes the slightly younger duo of Jenny and Sam who were our bar tenders/waiters. What a lovely, happy, efficient and mature pair they were. Thank you Jenny and Sam, you were ace!

Rooms are on the small side and drinks are a bit pricy but neither of those factors impeded my night because your staff were so good!

My husband and I got married here in August and I can not rate the hotel and staff highly enough. The staff were so attentive and we felt really well looked after. Leigha was amazing throughout, anything we asked for/wanted changed was accommodated for, I felt so relaxed going into and throughout our day knowing she was there to keep everything running smoothly. Dave and the bar staff were so attentive, checking in throughout the day keeping us updated with everything and checking we were ok. The food was amazing, we went for a buffet due to our buffet. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the Lasagne and Curry and how tasty the Brownie was. Friends are now going for Christmas lunch as they enjoyed the food so much. Our room was lovely, can't fault it at all. We had friends over from Germany who were so happy staying here and commented on how friendly the staff were. In summary I would highly recommend the Waterside to anyone wanting to get married or just for a general stay. Thank you so much to all the staff and in particular Leigha for making our day so wonderful and giving us lots of happy memories.

Lovely place nice the pool and jaucuzzi and steam room and sauna were amazing chilled weekend staff were lovely fab time will definitely be booking to come again might have to have a spa treatment next time я┐╜

I stayed here on the 18th/19th/20th of may as my daughter was getting married there on the 20th . What can I say , staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough, we stayed in a beautiful double room which was clean , the shower was actually amazing , breakfast was fab , we did eat in the restaurant , the food was great , facilities are great which we made good use of as they were included, the wedding day was perfect the staff worked so hard and it ran so smoothly we had a great time , we will be back to stay again it was worth every penny , if you want somewhere to get married , go for it я┐╜

I have only recently joined the Waterside leisure club and can honestly say I am absolutely over the moon with my choice, I am loving every minute of being a member.

A fantastic range of gym equipment, classes and the swim/hydrotherapy area is amazing, most of all the staff are all very friendly and happy to help and advise whenever needed!



I cant recommend the Waterside enough!

Had the opportunity to stay in this lovely setting very recently and all I can say is for ┬г10 more a night HELL YES!!!! From arrival the staff were absolutely amazing, extremely friendly and even catered to me bringing my friends and their toddler for a spa day on the last day for no additional cost!!!!



Fully love this place and would recommend it to anyone! DONT think about the additional ┬г10+ a night on comparison to travelodge...... think of how much your saving if you had to pay for a decent spa day?? Alongside accommodation and breakfast.....

As a member at the leisure club I cannot fault the staff or management. I have recently been ill and they suspended my membership so I wouldn't lose out on months that were paid for. To return I needed steps into the pool rather than ladders and this has been done. I am so grateful to them for their 100% support

We spent 3 nights here celebrating a family members birthday and I have to say we really enjoyed our time. Although the rooms were on the compact side we managed. Staff were polite and friendly and very tolerant of all the children in our extended family party. We spent time in the pool and my son loved it. I found that the menu was a little limited after 5.30 when we couldn't order from the bar menu or we would have eaten in. Breakfast however was excellent. We are planning to return for another visit just not sure how soon. Thank you again for a pleasurable stay.

Just joined this gym and I've found staff very helpful, noticeable around the gym and great facilities. As others have mentioned there's no way some with accessibility needs could use this place though.

I have just had 2 nights here. Firstly staff are very friendly and helpful, great food, plenty of fitness activities and an indoor pool. Small room although exceptionally clean, l think a bottle of water per day free of course would be great. Close to shops train station cafes and restaurants in the Main Street. Plenty to see and do in the area.

Been a member now for over a year after previously being a member back in the 90's

Love what they have done with the recent refurb in the gym - but walked in today and it was like being in a night club!!

Does the music have to be blasted out so loud?

I do not like the music that is played so always wear headphones and listen to my own music - however today it was so loud i could not hear above the noise!!

Why not play a variation of music instead of the same old stuff and please turn it down!!!

Not often disappointed but on this occasion we are,, the toilet in our room was situated next to the door and couldnтАЩt close the door unless I sat sideways...

Bad organisation regards to our reception, we were told breakfast buffet would be available at 730am, we went down for breakfast at that time and told we had to wait another half hour, we helped our selfs to 1 tea and coffee which was cold and the full English breakfast tasted like yesterdayтАЩs



If they address some of these issues then I would have scored a 4out of 5
