Love the relaxed atmosphere, staff are always friendly and helpful. A great plus for me is that they have vegan options without asking for a special menu. Go there often. Would recommend.

Love the new coffee shop over Waterstones. Very pretty decor, lovely coffee and friendly and helpful staff. Of course being over my favourite shop is an added bonus.

I popped in to collect a book I'd pre-ordered & then bought a further 3 books (2 for me & 1 as a gift) & then went upstairs to the café which has big windows overlooking the arcade below (fun for people-watching!), where I had a lovely cream tea with fruit scones, clotted cream, strawberry jam & a pot of tea. I also had a toasted ciabatta sandwich with brie, cranberry & spinach to take-away which was most delicious too. The café's atmosphere is one of my favourites in town. You can sit in a comfy armchair, lounge on a sofa or opt for a regular chair or even bar stools on higher tables. Bookshelves line the café with a selection of books & newspapers & even fun products, some just decorative, others available to buy e.g. signature mugs to match their lovely fabric long-life/reusable bags (which I love -I have 2 of them already!). The music is lovely too, more eclectic & atmospheric than your typical chart/pop hits, with 1920s-50s music from jazz to lounge to cabaret-style stuff -just perfect! �����

I love it here we come at least once a week. Friendly Stafford books and a beautiful cafe that caters for everybody �

Nice vibe here. Nice to go somewhere that's not a major coffee chain. It is a victim of its own success as there can be quite a queue in school holidays
