A great book for kids this summer is Boot. I should know, I just spent all day reading it.
Boot wakes up in a scrapyard with only two incomplete memories, but one thing he knows for certain? He has to find his owner, Beth. Along the way he makes new friends and goes on the adventure of a lifetime, during which, he finds himself.
Boot will stay with me for a while, and this is only his first story!

Younger reading group for the book club tomorrow (11-13) I promise it'll be out of this world.
The group discussion will be about Malamander but having read it isn't essential!

Ruth Jones has just announced her second novel! In exactly the same week Never Greener is released in paperback (we have signed copies in stock) and we learn that there's going to be more Gavin & Stacey this Christmas.
As Nessa would say 'tidy'.
