A book is for life, not just for Christmas -as long as it's the RIGHT book. If you received something you know you'll never read, or already have, come and see us. If you have the receipt and it's in saleable condition, we've extended our exchange and refunds policy to the end of January. If you don't have a receipt, don't panic. Bring it in and we'll see what we can do. If it's something we can sell on, we'll either let you swap it for something else there and then, or give you a gift card to the current value. Just make sure it's not got a dedication scrawled on the inside, or had a pair of scissors taken to the price. For that, I'm afraid you'll need the charity shop. We're open every day except New Year's Day.

Well, it's safe to say a lot of people will be receiving books for Christmas this year. We're enjoying an exceptionally busy day today, but the spirits are well high and the queue is moving at lightning speed. We're open till 5.30, in case you have any last minute things to pick up, and we're on hand for advice. I'd like to take the opportunity to thank all the lovely people who've supported us over this past yaer, and to wish every last one of you a very merry Christmas. We'll be open again on Thursday 27th, normal hours.

The shop is buzzing and the tills are chiming, but just a quick reminder that we'll be open all day tomorrow (9-5.30) and Monday (8.30-5.30) so you still have plenty of opportunity to finish your Christmas shopping. The queue's moving quickly, the vibes are good, and we are all on hand to help. JOIN US ! x
