Closure update: The gas leak issue is still being resolved. Until it is fixed we have no electricity or power therefore we have to remain closed for the rest of today. Apologies for any inconvenience, all being well we should be back open Wednesday morning, we'll keep you posted.

Popped into Waterstones on Tuesday to Get an Autobiography for my Tattoo~Artist/friend as he's Always had Trouble finding the time due to Business meetings/ Handling Finances & Such!

Bargain aswell at only £6.99 in Paperback!

Would rather have an authentic/ Actual Book myself, ( only my Opinion) just as some people like Downloadable Songs/ or " Live" Artists/Musicians!

On our recent visit to Preston I popped into Waterstones to buy 2 books I'd been wanting for sometime. Not one for making reviews I feel compelled to mention one of your salespersons, Dan. He not only helped me find what I was looking for swiftly but took the time to discuss my books with me enthusiastically and with a vast breadth of literary knowledge he recommended many more. I walked away, extremely happily with 9 books including a couple for my 6 year old son. All his recommendations were fantastic & we will definitely be returning for his next suggestions!!! Thankyou Dan, we really appreciate your time.

My two daughters and my mum had a great time at the Harry Potter the cursed child reading group today, thank you to the staff for making them very welcome, they had a great time joining in.

I love books, and so of course I love Waterstones. I visited on Thursday and was browsing the graphic novels section, when volume 1 of 'Wytches' (Snyder and Jock) caught my eye. I picked it up and a member of staff recommended it. I bought it (he said if I didn't like it, I could throw it at him lol) and I finished it today... I won't have to throw it at him. I loved it :D

I always enjoy going into Waterstone's, there is a great selection of books and the staff are always very helpful!

Fabulous staff who put on a brilliant Evening with Lindsey Kelk. Just amazing!

Attended the 'Evening with Lindsey Kelk' last night for a Q&A and book signing for her latest novel and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It was a well planned and intimate event with engaging conversation, and the staff were helpful and friendly also. I would definitely attend similar events again!
