We had a great turn out at the Herts and Bucks County Championship events over the weekend, with 32 athletes taking part, 21 athletes winning medals, 8 winning gold, 10 winning silver and 3 winning bronze. There were many PBs, several club records and some county records smashed! Tobi Ogunkanmi (100m) and Dylan Morris (Discus) moved to the top of the U20 & U13 UK rankings respectively.

After 2 fantastic performances this week, club athlete Tobi Ogunkanmi moved to #1 spot in the UK U20 rankings. Last weekend Tobi posted a PB of 10.71 running and winning in the YDL for his second claim club WSEH and today he represented the club at the Herts County Champs and broke his PB again with a fabulous 10.69 to take the win and the trophy. A massive well done to Tobi on this fine achievement from everyone involved at the club.

Also a cheeky 4th for Sai Nimalanathan at the Watford 10k!!

The weekend form continues with impressive performances from our young ladies! Emma Baldwin ran her first ever marathon. Charlotte Glenister ran 51 mins at the Watford 10k and Chloe Dearman ran a sub 45 at the Shinfield 10k. Well done all!! рҹҸғрҹҸ»вҖҚвҷҖпёҸрҹ’ӘрҹҸ»рҹҳ¬

A very successful day at the Herts County Vets Champs and All ages 1500m plus open events yesterday! There were lots of medals won for the club including golds for Barry Tunstall, Ray McKenna, Harvey Griffiths, Claire Bentley & Ross Connor. Great performances also for Charlie Woollett, Daisy Mainwaring, Nick Jones, Rachel Bentley and Taia Tunstall. Taia threw a new PB, and broke the club record and county record in the womenвҖҷs discus. Well done to all who took part!
