Police are appealing for any information

User

There was a heavy police presence there today

User

He beat her and then poisoned her.
He was found guilty of Eve's murder this afternoon.

User

To be fair, these accidents do sound quite horrible

User

This discount giant has just gone one better

User

Numerous officers are in the town centre

User

No majority was achieved on any of the motions put forward last night.

User

Police are still appealing for witnesses to this incident

User

Can you guess what's at number one?

User

Very sad news.

User

Watford Council has adopted the Charter Against Modern Slavery

User

Raids were carried out on a number of addresses yesterday.

User

Another big name on its way to Watford!

User

One of the nicest blokes we've had the pleasure of interviewing

User

M25 now open again in both directions at j20. Delays clearing quickly in our area.
Our thoughts are with those involved in today's crash.

User

Exciting times for the club!

User

In and out of Watford right now on the A4008.
Police say M25 closure will be in force for a couple more hours

User

St Albans Road, for example, is gridlocked from town all the way to Harvester.
Almost every major route across Watford is being affected.

User

Amazing what ten years and lots of hard work can do

User

Sh**e news and always half a day too late but the comment section is absolute comedy gold.

You need a serious review of those who write the main headline of these FB posts. Is anyone in the editorial team reviewing it? Beyond a joke. A newspaper I worked at years ago which has seriously lost respect!

User

What has become of our local paper? It's now just a 'copy & paste' publication. Rehashed national headlines, TripAdvisor reviews as headlines & more food reviews than the Good Food Guide. Get back to local news stories & real journalism. Bring back the Wobby!!!

User

What a load of crap your page is. It should be local/unbiased news, and not celebrity crap. Who is the admin for this page, a fourteen year old school kid? Ridiculous.

User

U lot pick and choose what u want to post. I hear about some crazy things in Watford but CID tell you don't print that because our little town will get scared. Your reporters and editors are like a bunch of 10 year olds. Honestly don't know how your still in your business

User

This is serious guys..Is anybody reviewing most of the (so called) posts..it seems like anybody can post anything and it doesn't matter whether it's true or not..

User

The mouthpiece of corporate advertising. Money from clicks means more than maintaining good standards of journalism. Updated review : Feb 21 2017, I feel I was being too generous in my previous review. 0 nothing nada zero zilch. No marks at all for effort as none has been made.

User

Really upset how the Watford observer has made a mistake and instead of putting it right I've just been passed around to people who don't know what they're doing and just being ignored! Utterly disappointed

User

Never put the correct headlines and actually stated truth you're causing more harm than good filling the stories with absolute lies

User

Name and shame category of the Watford Observer, so without any facts or details on anything you just chuck people's names, ages, addresses and fines into a paper column as it takes up some space meaning you have less work to do. Nice, real journalism at its best, wankers!

User

Moved back to Watford a couple of months ago, and my days, the Watford Observer has seriously gone downhill. Looks to be a local joke nowadays. Such a poor publication.

User

Most of the time it looks like they have run out of stories, and put in some rubbish to fill pages. Most of the time it doesn't make sense or is bias, or is badly spelt with poor grammar. Can't understand how they are still publishing.

Ive found the recent reporting of the death of a 15yr old child disgusting and wrong on so many levels. Even if he was convicted of and dealt drugs, this was not all he was. He was a CHILD. if we think it acceptable to demonise him to make his death a little more bearable then we should hang our heads in shame

User

I'm utterly incensed by Watford Observer's lack of decorum and propriety in reporting on the late Graham Taylor today. They asked the question if an unsubstantiated story would change our minds on the former WFC legend. Only recently deceased and a revered man in our town, this article stinks of lack of journalistic prowess and decency. I am appalled by the standard to which Watford Observer has plummeted to in recent years - but this is the last straw. It exposes a reasonable indifference to the town and sycophantic preoccupation with national tabloid sensationalism. Shame on you Watford Observer: if there was nil points you would get it. I for one demand an open apology to your readership.

User

Hopeless, arrogant and 'lazy' journalists who can't be bothered to process a good local-interest story even when it's spoon-fed to them a month before the event! No wonder the Watford Observer has just a bad reputation and ridiculed by locals. Incredulous at their poor attitude. Editor tried to apologise but all too little too late. If they can't deal with a simple article in four weeks- not much hope for good journalistic interpretation of real, happening, local news....

Headlines are never correct to story. Facts not researched properly leading to incorrect facts been published especially on individuals - I suspect libel is an issue. Copying and pasting is a joke, spelling mistakes are a joke. Just very poor reporting full stop. Embarrassed to have the WO as a local paper. Fake news!!

User

Come on Watford Observer is Jason Derulo really front page news? And page 2 also?

User

Bombard you with irrelevant adverts if they get hold of your email address. Articles are often not relevant to the local area and written in a way that incites outrage (read the comments sections on the articles)

User

Absolute scum and disgrace to the man who served not only the football club, but our town in so many ways.
